After watching the trailer 6 more times, I have a feeling that Kylo Ren's line about finishing "what you started" is directly to Luke. Makes me wonder if Luke tried to restart the Jedi Order and failed. Also, Finn, I'm starting to think that he has no force abilities at all. He just happens to be trying to defend himself with a lightsaber. Lastly, isn't that Leia's theme playing for a good chunk of the trailer? Make me wonder...

I got in quick, reserved middle seats in the middle of the theater! We have Cinemark and Regal close by, I love Harkins, but I love buying a reserved seat so I don't have to worry about showing up early, waiting in line, or fighting for a seat!!

Or it's Kylo speaking to the ghost of Vader, he's holding the helmet in the clip with that dialogue.

In theory, over the last 60-70 years there have been just 4 out there that people were aware of, and yoda was in hiding pretty much that whole time. Any other jedi that survived ROTS also apparently were in hiding and out of the public eye. Even in ROTS i think it was heavily implied there weren't too many jedi left even then. So 60ish years with just a couple in existence, 2 of which were in hiding, another barely born and unaware til he was pushing 20 and I can see it fading rather quickly.

What I am getting from this is that it looks like they are doing the original script of Star Wars. Female lead (originally Luke was a girl), everything has a Ralph McQuarrie design feel.

I agree. I'm of the thought voiced here a couple months ago that as Kylo is about to take him out is Luke's big entrance.

The pilot Poe is the one being looked by the Kylo right? That scene reminds me a clip from the Batman v Superman trailer with Lex Luthor looking at Superman.

its also almost a mirror scene from rebels season 1 where the inquisitor is force scratching Kanans brain

Oh I definitely agree. This trailer really helped cement in my mind that Rey is our main protagonist.

Y'know, in that shot of Kylo with the other knights, he's the only one wielding a lightsaber. The others all seem to have some sort of staff type weapon. Similar to what Daisy Ridley's character uses. Wonder if there's a connection.
