Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Pre-release)

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

I was so excited that I started trembling a little when I came in here today and saw that the trailer had indeed been attached to "The Hunger Games"...I felt like a kid again for a moment. Now to find out it is a fake rumor? I feel deflated now. Too bad, It will come a long soon enough though.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Only 100 theaters?
The El Capitan theater on Hollywood Blvd. (in Hollywood, CA, that is) is owned by Disney, so if the rumor is true I'd say it's a safe bet the trailer will be shown there. One down, 99 to figure out. :lol

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Decembre people, December:rolleyes...I'm zen about the trailer, besides, it's going to be sliced in 3 parts: first the music, then the "flash-backs" of the other movies and finally the new images that everybody is waiting for (well, that's how I would do it anyway)!

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

That's not real clear - are these Regal theaters the only place showing it - or will more be announced shortly? I sounds like that there more be announced from other theater chains.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

I think there will be other theater chains making similar announcements and something official from LucasFilm.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

All I know is I live right next to the pinnacle in TN!

WOOT!

Even if it leaks Wednesday, I'm goin to see something on Friday!!! LOL!!!!

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Other theatre chains most likely will also be showing the trailer. What's interesting is that they mention the trailer will be played before all of their movies; so regardless of the other studios and their films, one can catch the trailer during any screening for 3 days.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

This was their "BIG" plans? Lame.

I gotta call a bit of BS here. I think they'll post the trailer online before that day. If they want to hit the masses hard they need to have it online where it is most convenient to see for everyone. They gain nothing by having people go to select movie theaters to pay for other films just to see the trailer attached.
