Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Post-release)

There's some article going around my FB feed that Snoke is the Inquisitor dude from Rebels. I don't see it personally, but whatev.

Interesting thought but I kinda doubt it. I think he would've been more obviously a Pau'an, with those vertical facial lines.

Plot device, nothing more.

Either that or they were necking up there. It was obviously Disney's PC agenda to lay the foundation in TFA for Star Wars' first inter-racial couple. Stay tuned.

The Wook

Oh yes.... that is So obvious. It must be a Disney Conspiracy. :rolleyes

I'm not saying that they won't have an attachment...or that I would even be opposed to it. He clearly likes her, and once she gets herself sorted out, she may find that she likes him too.

But it isn't some evil conspiracy.

You know, with all of the jabs you're taking at this movie, I think the earlier poster might be correct in his suggestion that you may be more at home in the Disappointed in TFA thread.

I thought they merged that thread with this one ?
Anyway speaking of Disney conspiracy you should hear what Alex Jones is saying about TFA while touting how the prequels were preaching gospal !

Snoke and Kylo are not Sith.

we don't know .that we just know Kylo is the master of the Knights of Ren whatever that is . it could be a scrappy little street gang like crew of Kylo's butt buddies for all we know.

maybe to" complete his training" as Snoke said Kylo is taken to Korriban were he has to defeat the best Sith warriors to become a lord of the Sith.
palatine did not run around telling everybody he was a Sith lord .

Harrison ford and max von Sydow are supposedly confirmed for the next movie I take it there are gonna be flashbacks then.

Speaking of Max von Sydow, I know he had more lines in The Force Awakens than Mark Hamill, but I wonder which of them got more screen time. :unsure

Also, let's take an informal poll. Who here freaked out when they saw Finn activate Luke's lightsaber that first time by pressing the big red button? :D

Just because Luke pressed a different button doesn't mean the red one doesn't work too, maybe thats why it made a different noise.

I mean why have more than one button anyway if only one of them does anything?

3rd time now for me and my son. Love it more with each viewing and he's asked again when we can go again. He's never been this way with any movie. I tried to take him once to a movie he really loved and he wanted to leave half way through. Not this though. The niggly bits I had on the first viewing aren't so bad after you've come to piece with them. So many props I need from this film now. That's probably its biggest downfall for me,my wallet will be empty for a while. :)

They are cannon better to accept it . as you can't change it.

I can't, it's true. That's not the same thing at all as "it can't". No one, even the other prequels, have acknowledged ether of them since TPM. They know what mistakes look like.

Add to that the fact that the entire 4B franchise barely represents a fun little side project for the behemoth that is Disney... The only thing a juggernaut like that is married to is it's share prices. NOTHING is sacred to the parent company. Nothing.

So yes... It's Canon. For now. Sort of... In a "no one ever mentions it or is likely to ever mention it again" sort of way.

Here is the way I look at the prequels personally we hear about the clone wars in ANH so when GL finally gives us the story about that time period he gives us the WW2 in colour version (yep the European longer version) not even the WW2 in color U.S. version. Dry, slow, factual version of events. But what we all really wanted to see was the inglorious basterds version of the clone wars era. A fun exciting adventure like we had came to expect of star wars. Now just because it was longer and boring and had more information in it than we cared to know does not make it any less true . less canon that is to say.

My favorite part of the whole medieclorian deal is that it is closer to real life than the old magic explanation everybody seems to prefer . we have discovered and are beginning to study nutrenos which again in real scientific life flow through everything connecting us all in a way we have yet to understand.

Just like the complaint about snoke being to big while I'm sure in the movie he is not that huge . he is just using a 1000 inch Sony trinatron for his hologram. again in real life science tells us that if there are real aliens from closer in the interior of the universe they would be proportionally bigger than us just like smoke appears in the movie , and like the space jockeys from alien and Prometheus. And if they were further out they would be smaller . now we apparently find it funny or stupid but it is real science. We just don't want real science in star wars we want fantasy damn it. Let star trek be all sciencey oops JJ messed that up like GL did the prequels.
