By commenting further you would consider it trolling, so I'll leave you to your forum.
Have fun.
Paul why are you always digging for dirt?:unsure
Something we'll never be accused of Gino:lol
My head just exploded.Actually thats what i meant... I don't like to show myself up and make myself look jealous.

Jealousy. :sick
Jealousy. :sick
Seems a bit ironic then, that he was banned for the same things we have all done over there in tearing the TD apart, and also doing the same to Thomas's comps in general.I'm going to clear the air on something. In fact, I'm going to even compliment him. But I'm going to provide some context with those compliments. You don't write the truth away by maligning people with "jealousy".
First, Gino, congratulations on the launch of your website. You made the effort in site design as well as the investment in photography. Aside from the fact that each post you make on the RPF has a huge footer signature link graphic, you've literally spent no money in advertising to gain the traction you have. You've been able to weather controversy to the point people see great photographs and forget the past. Well done - these are good accomplishments. :thumbsup
In defense of the Den moderators, if people truly think they are digging for dirt" out "jealousy" then visit the Den and examine GINO's threads for yourselves.
Here is an account of GINO's actions leading up to his being banned.
On http://thepropden.aokforums.com, five original original helmets of verified provenance were being discussed or showcased. Five of the best and most accurate in the fandom. GINO's was not among them because he would never verify his claims. Yet he trolled, in particular, two threads on the SL and TD helmets/masks that happened to be owned by SithLord (a quick RPF search will show how much the two have clashed over the years).
No Star Wars fan who is a logical, thinking prop affeciado should just assume that simply because something looks great that it must be from an original. Question every prop's origins when claims of provenance are made, even if it seems to have "the look". Sometimes lighting and photography angle/distance and lens distortion can enhance or obscure a prop. The props discussed on the Den each had a high level of scrutiny. When it came to GINO, he repeatedly cast doubt in the public eye on others' helmets but when the Mods called him on it, he failed or refused to back any of his statements.
What motivated GINO to do that?
Very well said.
Too many different personality types on these - or any - forum. A lot of times, it is a pissing match between two people. Some folks want so very much to be the trailblazer and be right with something that they will argue the minutiae that they forget they own something really cool. Why can't we all just get along?
Some of us here just like props..you know, like, for FUN...when we are not working and so on... and don't give a crap about politics, petty squabbles or insignificant mindgames.
It's this kind of bull which spoils the great RPF,

I suppose I'm jealous.
Funny, I thought the word was skeptical.
Oh, I am not saying you are here to slander anything. I am merely stating that using your example was a bad one. It has just turned out, quite recently, that Thomas was wrong with his suppositions. So, using the TD/SL debate as a ban example is just a poor one.The Mod's reason for his banning is already published. I'm not restating, interpreting or adding to their words. I merely gave an account of events leading up to his last few days in context of where and to whom I feel the "jealousy" label should really be applied. If you consider, however, that the Mods take forever with bans, e.g. T*E, then it's either extreme tolerance or patience on their part. If you go even further back, you'll see how GINO had consecutively derailed educational threads that I had started - and yet I'm still here giving GINO compliments. Food for thought.
