Star Wars Plug and Control panels

I haven't seen to much information on this panel part so I thought I'd share this here. The silver bath faucet like vent on the death star next to c-3po is actually part of the air intake on a Rolls Royce dart engine combustion chamber. It was also used in the millennium falcon turret and was also seen in the ST.

I've noticed this red light on the snow speeder and a panel on the falcon and it looks like the light from a RAF accumulator cart. Its also used as the red eye on the IT-O interrogation droid.

It does look remarkably like those lamps all over the set! I wonder if the set decorators got them as surplus

Do we have any measurements on those flanged aluminum pieces all over the interrogator droid and a lot of panels in ANH? I may have found something extremely close

If they are the same as the lights on the Death Star door panel and detention block camera? Then they are between 44mm-48mm including the chrome bezel. The lens is 36mm without the bezel.

hi,
if you mean the death star dome lights that rebelscum and I reproduced, rebelscum is saying that:
The lens OD is 1.4416". The base OD is 1.7484"
here:

regarding the other piece you show on the probe,
if you mean this:

it is a Dedalino pencil holder
it has been identified by Storm, at least this is from him that I saw it first, sorry if that is not the case,
it was in that thread, but the photos are now gone:

cheers

Thanks but I meant the aluminum top hat looking things! The flanged tubes sitting on the pencil holder

Okay, from what I understand these are around .25 inch, I'm not sure if that's the OD of either flange or the ID. I've bought a handful to inspect them, because I have a good feeling.

The prop pieces look like aluminum. These are available in steel and aluminum, so I got Al ones for now. When I get them I'll upload photographs and product codes if we have a match

By Tom's request, I'm posting this here...

I spotted the same pipe clamps that were used as part of the scope mount on the ESB Boba Fett EE3 being used to hold a thingy on the dash of the ESB X-Wing interior cockpit set. Also, the thingy seems to feature an MPP shroud!

Elsewhere we see plenty of Michell parts, slotted rocker switches, and a BOC charger holder, so many of the usual greeblies!

This is SO COOL MPPs never get very far on these sets.

I’ve …like …never seen an MPP shroud on anything else. Makes sense given the graflite choice, slapping a tube on the console

heyyy, so I found an accidental serial number

this is, if I remember correctly, during the bounty hunter scene. These are along the wall surrounding the pit where the imperial officers are. There are lots of the metal slot things with magnifier boxes on them, and then the panel to the right has a freaking serial number.

small thing, but I always love finding details like this.

If I'm not mistaken, this is another Yoke handle, in the AT-AT cockpit. Connected to god knows what...

I also found the same pushbutton in the forward-facing snowspeeder cockpits in the falcon. It's on Han's side so we rarely see it, I have yet to ID this sucker, it has these panel mounting brackets at 12 and 6

Some of those ROTJ wire clips in ESB
Screen Shot 2023-01-29 at 9.48.47 PM.png

During all the drama there are magnifier boxes on the walls of cloud city, Lando uses a set to open the dining room door.

and finally, that voltage probe identified by lonepigeon is just hanging in front of Vader when he steps into the rebel base in ESB

There is one more item I think I've identified in both cockpits and a lightsaber duel set, trying to track one down to confirm though, I'll report back!
