Has this rocker switch with the hollowed center portion been identified as a found part?
View attachment 942734
I do wonder if these are from a mixing board, and the hollowed center is a guide for how far forward or backward it can go. These rocker shapes are EVERYWHERE and some even seem to be scratchbuilt. where'd the idea or design come from if not a real part?

I'd like to add some discoveries.

Stormtrooper power cylinders in a cockpit.
I believe this is Hoth, ESB. See the raised fake rocker switches, and what look like thin metal leads from an electronic item. Also a cone knob, again,

Hengstler Counter in the ANH X wing Cockpit. "Hey, what's that red dot on your sweater?"

Tomtit Cylinders (Han ANH Blaster grill, ANH Comlink) and reade model kit parts, next to a Vickers lamp in the X wing Cockpit, and a Michell Transcriptor metal disc..... and.. these mysterious metal knobs that pop up frequently in ships, on the left.

I guess it goes without saying that newmagrathea discovered the calculator on the joystick!

I can't tell what else I'm looking at, anyone else?

Unrelated to identifying control panel parts, but since we have a lot of experts here, I have a question. The data port that R2 connects with via his arm that spins, what is the height (in inches or centimeters) from the floor to be positioned correctly ?

I found more magnified specimen boxes and more of those open rocker switches in ESB

Also, some V8 pistons right from the box, with the closed center hole, right above Luke's medical bed on the Falcon.

*garard- does anyone have ESB shots showing the turntable parts?

Popped up on FB today - we get top and side shots of that olive green cylinder thing and those slide switches. What on earth are those chrome knobs? They're all over the X wing cockpit too

The infamous wire clip, at least a similar version, shows up on set in other places

Now, in the above image you'll see a neat metal part maybe from a record player, more cone knobs, and a decent amount of cross knobs, the thing on the Jabba blaster and the speeder bikes

AND what I think is a fuse carrier. I've been digging through them looking for the DV MoM Control box and have struck out again. However I've stared at many unrelated fuse carriers and whether it's a GEC or MEM.. I think that's what this is. There is a knob on it, the cream colored thing. There is also a knob on the mystery slider rocker switch on the right.

I've also noticed a LOT of these plates in tons of scenes of ROTJ. Probably from a record player, it's a plate that rotates 90 degrees

I'm not sure what these are... hors d'oeuvre plates, electronic parts trays or darkroom trays, they are embedded in MANY panels in ROTJ

Screen Shot 2020-11-04 at 9.33.22 PM.png

And I think these are the parts from Vader's helmet. You'll notice those bumpers, on the Han Solo pistols and all over cockpits maybe as resin pulls
