It's possible we will see some event that puts Luke in danger, the catalyst somehow being related to Ben being around Luke. This results in Owen telling him to stay away, and Ben agreeing because he feels guilty about putting a child in danger.
My question is, Luke was chomping at the bit to get off world. He nearly left the year before, until his uncle guilted him into staying. What's Obi-Wan's plan in this scenario? Follow him off world and spill the beans?

I think the best way to have Obi-Wan leave the planet would be if it has dire consequences for the Lars family. He goes off chasing a lead or an inquisitor, and in that time they come knocking at the Lars’ front door and toss the place looking for Kenobi. Then Owen and Obi-Wan can have it out when Obi gets back to the planet and Owen can lay into him “they were in my home! Looking for you! You stay away from us!” Which then leads to Ben’s long standing hermitage on the planet.

I've long had hoped this show wouldn't happen but here we are. I don't have high hopes but I guess we'll see. I also had wondered if we'd see a blended Guinness/McGregor deepfake at any point although I'm not sure if that's even possible. Lol! Nevertheless, being halfway between the PT and OT, it'd be the ideal time for it if they wanted to do it! lol
Disney canon wise leia was suppose to be the first.. luke was then a back up plan
But a new prequels book came out with interviews of Lucas (today) and Lucas talked about his ST plan and how leia was always the chosen one to bring balance back. Luke destroys the sith, but leia being in the politics brings complete balance back to the galaxy

I am totally against him leaving, I don’t want him to leave I don’t want him and vader fighting in real life.. I don’t want vader knowing his still alive
BUT like a few mentioned here.. if the inquisitors land on tatoonie and on kenobis tail.. it may be best for him to run off the planet and lead them somewhere else…

After fett though I don’t want anymore Star Wars.. I’m serious. My girlfriend and I are wicked excited for thrawn.. and she can’t believe that I’ve totally flipped and don’t even want to see that story

I would never do that to anyone.. not cool at all. And that’s what the problem was with the other guys, once someone would post something positive say about ep8.. they would all jump him, then they would fight with in themselves.. it was like that in almost every Star Wars thread.. they would switch the topic and get the arguing all over againI don’t think you come across that way at all.
