I hate posting negativity because like I said a few years ago there was 4 guys in here that’s all they would do is post complain and fight with one another

I would sit back and say man life isn’t that bad.. not worth complaining.. they all ended up getting banned

Now I sit back and look and say.. am I now one of them?

I don’t ever want to come off where someone sees me post and says “oh not this negative @$$hole again…”

Idk.. I’m just expressing how I feel.. and I would NEVER target someone with the opposite taste of mine

I cannot see anything flawed with your thoughts and postings, so I would not worry about it. I agree, let's not get too enthusiastic over the show because we can't actively change what it is (or will be). Just let's have some fun, post our thoughts about it, be civil and enjoy the good about it. I mean, bad Star Wars is still better than NO Star Wars. OK, I know that bad Star Wars is not good for the longevity of the brand but it is not up to us to decide how things are going (the Mouse is responsible for that). We are just witnessing the results of that. Nevertheless I'm sure there will be something we like.

Oh I agree. I'm just saying if you accept their idea of canon as being gospel then that's their answer. If you ask me, there is no Chosen One in Star Wars.

I dont think you were being over the top. I agree with you about posting too much negativity as after a while it gets overbearing. With that said how much is too much? What's the difference between being constructively critical and having a hate fest or joking too much? The line is different for everyone and some are much more sensitive than others. I think that people really need to remember that. All you can do is be yourself as it's impossible to control what others think especially online. As long as you're generally not hating on everything and make an effort to be balanced you're fine. If you happen to feel like you're being too negative just pull back a bit. Trust your instincts and trust your judgement, that's all anyone can do.

The thing was sitting on the shelves for years and once it was known to be a Star Wars prop the prices went sky high within a couple of days and everyone was buying it up. Does anybody of you know where I can find that thread? My searches have been unsuccessful...

Most camera shops also knew of the graflex and would charge upwards of 100 bucks for one.. IF you passed their test

Many veterans of the time will tell you when they finally found one in a camera shop of flea market the owners would be hesitant to sell it to some young kid.. in fear of them destroying it to make a replica.. so you had to use a story “my grandfather was a reporter and I have one of his old cameras and want this flash to go with it”

It was no mag, it was a thread here on therpf. But yes, I remember that "grandfather trick". (to be honest, I prefer that one to the "grandkid trick" )
