Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi (tv series)

It's not the clay, it's his head shape. If he kept his hair, no wonder it looks like Egghead from the '66 Batman. His hair is laid down on his already round head, a bald cap is applied over it, and then the make-up on top of that. Yeah, his head is gonna look even bigger. Bruce Spence played the Utapau leader in ROTS and he's a very long and gaunt person, even in the head---it's the physical properties of the actor that accentuates the make-up, not the other way round.

here's a little tat to speculate about...

Im sure the hair plays a part but they simply screwed the pooch on this one. Hes not remotely close to 3 other of his own species

Ive heard one of the costume designers behind the show is kinda on a mission to reinvent the SW a wheel. Hence all the “new” design styles. Bobas BoBF costume was similar in its design oversights.

Also, regarding the tattoo- if it is a Jedi symbol- maybe, just maybe, you should consider removing it if you’re being hunted for being a Jedi. But we’ll see if it’s important or not.

Even though I'm not a fan of the Inquisitors, especially the Disney era ones, it would be neat if we saw Jerec (ex-Inquisitor seen in Dark Forces II) at some point. Though he was somewhat hammy and the original actor, Christopher Neame, is likely too old to play him again, I always thought the fact he was a blind darksider was interesting and a bit creepy.

I'm tinfoil hat calling it. Some fu.ck up padawan goes to tatt while being chased by the inquisition. Drawing too much attention too close to Luke Obi realizes this is too close for comfort. He grabs his saber and goes on a hunt of his own. After killing all the helicopters Vader enters. Maybe the human inquisitor gets converted to the light or is the first to die.

Yeah this seems pretty plausible. And possibly they get wind that Obi-wan is around. Maybe the padawan was trying to find him and brought unwelcome attention with them in the process, forcing Obi-wan to leave. The only thing is that it seems silly for Obi-wan to ever go back to Tatooine if he does indeed get on the Inquistorius' radar. It's also silly that Tarkin in ANH thinks that Obi-wan "is surely dead by now", implying he didn't know for sure but that Obi-wan had not been seen in a very long time. Well, actually Obi-wan was seen about 10 years ago...

I just had a really goofy thought and I’m not saying I’m advocating for this to happen but…

…what if Obi-wan is forced to alter his looks in order to return to Tatooine and remain safely unnoticed for the rest of his life? What if at the end of the series, he’s literally altered into deepfake Alec Guinness? That seems so silly but a part of me could almost see Disney doing this? Would they do that? Lol

I’m not sure if anyone else caught this, but it’s bound to come up for discussion, sometime. It hit me immediately upon viewing the trailer.

The way they portray the dirt of Tatooine is not accurate.

The aggregated material of Tatooine, or “dirt” as one may call it, has never been portrayed like this in any on-screen representation before.

It’s the wrong color (think “sand color”)…it’s the wrong texture (think “sandstone texture”)…and the aggregate is the wrong size (think “desert pebble size”).

Could this be a new variant of Tatooine dirt that we have not seen before?

Other than this issue, the trailer made it look like a show worth checking out.
Maybe its the remains of a decomposing Krate..the one we see later in SW as a skeleton on the ridge ?
