Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi (tv series)

So,.....................The Obi-Wan Kenobi TVseries. What do you all think will happen in the final episode?
This is what I thought ...it's a repeat of a previous post but here's my story and I'm sticking to it:
Ps: none of my predictions were right in TBOBF..lol

My bet is that Obi turns Reva to the good after explaining things to her about where he was. Then after acheiving that little feat, the both sit down together and commune with Qui-Gon who teaches them the Art of disappearing like OBI did with Vader in ANH. When Reva faces Vader for the 3rd time, instead of being afraid and taking a stabbing via lightsaber, she has the calm of ANH OBI as she closes her eyes and disappears as Vader takes a slash at her...just my guess

Nothing will happen.

But we might see:
>Yoda
>Young Boba
>Mace Windu
>Anthony Kiedis
>Jar Jar
>Child Hand Solo
>Something from the marketing committee
>Doctor Strange
>C3PO
>Doctor Who
>Spud (from Trainspotting)
>More hand-held shots
>Flares
>Post-credit scene of something unexciting.

It could happen.

Not sure if anyone here has heard the theory that these 6 episodes have elements that mirror or parallel their numerical counterparts in the PT & OT. Some are small nods, while others are more on nose.

I only mention this in the spirit of helping predict the finale & these ideas aren't mine.

EpI: Anakin & Luke both grow up on Tattooine, while Padme & Leia grow up & serve as royalty on thriving planets & use decoys.

EpII: Kenobi visits a neon lit underworld in pursuit of bounty hunters that are threatening the girl he's trying to protect. He's offered drugs & we see a clone for the first time.

EpIII: Vader/Anakin fight Kenobi in a duel that ends with one of them in fire.

EpIV: Leia is held on an imperial base & interrogated, but it's too strong to be broken. She uses emotion to try & give false information, but it doesn't work. Obi Wan has to infiltrate to try & rescue her, but they're ALLOWED to leave since there's a tracker in place to find the hidden base.

EpV: Those hunted by the Empire are found & must scramble to man their ships as the base is overrun by Stormtroopers/Snowtroopers accompanied by Vader, & barely escape. We find out a secret that is meant to reconceptualize a character. Vader is confronted by someone nowhere NEAR his level, beats them, & allows them to live.

So, if that holds, speculate on what parallels to ROTJ we might see.

Ah, you’re saying there will be Ewoks in the next episode. Loud and clear. I’m back in, guys.

;)

I had this thought as i was weathering a project of mine today. I don't know why I'm blown away by this but as I chewed on it for a while, I began to see the beauty of Star Wars in the form of a single lightsaber...the MK1...which happens to be the Kenobi lightsaber in ANH.

This lightsaber will undoubtedly never be repeated to the extent that it's real parts make it the most expensive lightsaber of all time to build.

I mean who would think to throw together such random parts that have absolutely nothing to do with each other?

We are talking about an Armitage shanks sink knob...A Browning machine gun booster...a 1910 ww1 grenade...a 1930 graflex flash cell clamp...a Rolls Royce Derwent engine balance pipe...a Texas Instrument calculator bubble strip...transistors ...these parts range from so many years ago and from many different places from England to Texas to Rochester NY ( right near me).

You put those random parts in order and you form A LIGHTSABER!!! Not just any lightsaber. One of the Best of all time, it really is a work of art.

Why does this hit me so hard? You realize that lightsaber represents us!! It represents Star Wars. All that history, all the places and all the different parts that together are unified as ONE. Take any of those parts out and it's incomplete. It has a signature and that signature is Obi-Wan Kenobi...you add something to it or take something away and its not the same thing.

Wow...how could this be anymore fitting an homage to the Star Wars universe and to its fans?

I am not in the Obi-Wan stayed on Tatooine for 20 years camp.

I never liked the idea that he and Yoda just bailed and hid for twenty years.

There is nothing to suggest this in the films. Quite the contrary. "Obi-Wan once thought as you do." That is pure, straight, original cannon and that can not be if they never saw each other after he became a crispy critter until ANH.

They had to and should have met up again. Several Times.

Anyway neither here nor there.

I was actually looking forward to this, especially after the dumpster fire that is the post Disney SW universe.

I thought they may pull this one off.

This crapfest sucks so much I don't even care if they have a epic saber fight as the story around it is such crap.

I always wanted to see a younger Vader and Obi-Wan meat up. Now I don't even care.

I am taking one more beating then done.

Sorry to be a downer.

Well in the vein of RoTJ, I think we'll see outgunned guerillas achieve a victory (maybe even a brief space battle???) and Palpatine will have at least a cameo. Qui-gon will appear at the end, smiling approvingly at Obi-wan. Or something...lol

I don't know if you meant this to be funny or not but when I read it I started laughing because I wondered what on Earth Qui-Gon could be proud of?

Qui-Gon Force Ghost, "When I left you we had a Grand Republic, and two bad guys. WTF happened?"

Well in my mind, this should've been in the PT. The PT should've started with Anakin and Obi-wan already as adults and Anakin ultimately falls to the darkside at the end of Ep.II (perhaps mirroring the downer nature of TESB). Ep.III should've been Obi-wan pursuing Anakin and trying to bring him back over several encounters, finally culminating in a heartbreaking duel where Anakin is presumably killed as far as the audience is concerned. Ideally that would've been how the PT played out and Obi-wan stays in hiding for 20 years, which I have no problem with. Heck in the OT, Yoda had no obvious way of even leaving the planet, although one deleted RotS scene did show Yoda once had some sort of weird pod thingy. Frankly, it would've made way more sense to me for Obi-wan to take one kid and Yoda taken the other, but obviously George had written that possibility out a loooong time ago.

But that didn't happen so despite my reservations about this show even happening, the one silver lining for me would've been if they did latch onto Vader's RoTJ line and Obi-wan attempts to do what I felt should've been in the PT: attempting to find Vader and bring him back. That would've been a credit to the canon and a worthwhile effort. Instead what we've gotten is a canon bending (if not breaking) thing that seems rather pointless.

Well I would've preferred Qui-gon been a supporting character in the show but I could see them mimicking RoTJ's ghost scene in his overdue appearance. I think his dialogue will be minimal, if at all.

Like a lot of folks I love the Ewoks, I remember staying up late watching the TV debut of the Ewok movies when I was a kid.

How about since Obi-Wan gave away his lightsaber, we get a cave scene of Obi-Wan constructing his new lightsaber ( the mk1) in Luke Skywalker fashion in the ROTJ deleted scene?

I figure they can kill 2 birds with one stone..
1. Allow Kenobi to have his lightsaber
2. Another way to smack Luke Skywalker in the face as if to say." Haha...your scene got deleted...mine didn't " lol

I'm sure they would love that opportunity...lol, jk
