Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi (tv series)

A minor nitpick. Vader's voice is good. But it's ESB Vader. Not ANH Vader. I get it. When making things like this, they don't always make it exactly how it was, more how you remember it. And let's be honest, when imagine Vader talking he sounds the way he does in ESB. But his voice is very different in the first film.

Watching ROTJ without rose tinted glasses.....Harrison's acting boarders on Prequel levels of cringe sometimes.
Yeah, as much as I love ROTJ for Luke’s story, Harrison and Carrie phone it in hard as soon as they’re off Tatooine. My brother and I joke that Leia got a concussion when her bike crashed and that’s why she acts so poorly afterwards.

No, yeah, he’s awful, awful, awful. Chewing every word of his and spitting it out through gritted teeth. Again, they (the Inquisitors) may be doing exactly what the script describes or what the director is telling them to do, it may be ALL the writing and not the actors at all. But I doubt that it’s entirely out of their hands to make these roles any better. For instance, Darth Maul has been voiced by two actors in live-action. One was a real actor, Peter Serafinowicz, and the other was…well, was Sam Witwer. One came across as the role was written (stoic, cold) and the other is amateurish, melodramatic, and ham-fisted.
I like Sam Witwer a lot, especially listening to interviews with him talking about Star Wars. He understands why it works more than most. And I like his other voiceover work but, I have to agree with this.

I don’t mind him in TFU games, because he’s essentially playing himself. It’s his impressions of other actors that I don’t like.

What I mean is, why go almost all ANH and skip on that detail? Plus, tunic over armor helps hide how much smaller the Vader actor is compared to Prowse. They would have done themselves a huge favor configuring the robe/tunic ANH style.
ANH is over the should pads right? I always though it looked odd that way.

Ya know if you kill someone who works for you every time they can't complete a task or make a mistake your gonna go through your employees pretty quick, and I doubt there will be a long line to replace them.

Oh and this show sucks top to bottom.

I just thought about this. The reason why I felt episode 3's production quality was low wasn't purely because of Joshua Tree, rather it was the type of camerawork that Deb employs in her show. She said she is a very action-oriented filmmaker, so when looking at the Vader v Ben fight, the dynamic camera work against a natural backdrop feels like a fan-film (atleast to me), which is why I felt it was low-production.

If the backdrop weren't so natural (which feels weird to say since I think shooting on location can be a good thing), the camera-work felt more obvious and out of place. But that's just me
