I think they eluded to her using the Jedi temple archives to research Kenobi. Maybe she even said she used the temple archives...I forget. But if she found the footage of Anakin being named vader it would explain how she knows who is. Especially if she witnessed him in the temple MDKing everyone.

She’s gotta be the padawan that says “run” in the Order 66 scene, so she knows of Anakin and Obi-Wan first hand. She may even hold a grudge against Kenobi because she held out as a survivor for longer than the typical Inquisitor candidates due to HIS message about the Order falling etc, only for him to disappear and her to fall into Vader’s hands. She could very easily resent Kenobi for not being a shining beacon to rally to.

One thing that I am befuddled on is why Vader has the ANH kit but the inner tunic is underneath his armor instead of worn correctly over it.

As a smaller-sized guy who dresses as Vader wearing that inner tunic over the armor helps hide not being as big/beefy as Prowse. I think Vader looks good, but he would have looked 110% better with accurate ANH capes.

This is only ten years after he becomes Vader. A lot can happen to him and his tunic, robes, armor, helmet, etc. before the events in Rogue One and ANH. I would think that there have been variations and upgrades in the meantime as well as wear and tear.

I've said it before, and the lights in the chest box.
I think it would have been really cool in Rogue One if the box was lit until that final hallway fight. One of the deflected blasts blows up something on the wall right next to him, and boom, his chest lights are out, the armor is less shiny, and the mask has the c-scar and such. And thus he's retroactively wearing battle-scarred armor for the entirety of ANH.
I know the scene was a late addition, which would preclude anyone thinking about the chest box thing in advance, but the mask could've been weathered by the end of the scene.

What I mean is, why go almost all ANH and skip on that detail? Plus, tunic over armor helps hide how much smaller the Vader actor is compared to Prowse. They would have done themselves a huge favor configuring the robe/tunic ANH style.

When has star wars as a whole ever had good acting? kenobi/emperor/han were really the only characters that had good acting. Everyone else across all era's have been pretty average as actors. Remove your childhood feelings and emotions and you know it to be true....

Watching ROTJ without rose tinted glasses.....Harrison's acting boarders on Prequel levels of cringe sometimes.
