Star Wars legacy costumes and props

Hey Randy,

great that I could help you with putting up these nice pics for you.

BTW I would love to help you in every way but C4 or SDCC would not possible for me as I´m in germany lol. I will see what I can do to wear the suit here in germany with the 501st. German-Garrison to make that suit more known here in good old Germany.

Greetings Guido

Ok, the chest armor is now done, but it needs some trimming, but looks good out of the mold...I just emailed a photo of it, if you could post it, I'd be happy...

Absoluty no problem Randy it´s nice that I could help a litle bit on that way.

So here it is and it looks absoluty great:

Amazing work guys.. any chance someone is doing a female knight armor? I'd be sooo in. lol

My only problem is the chest came out a little smaller than I want, so some trimming I will have to do to make the chest fit any size...right now, this chest you see here would only fit someone who's 5"8-5"10 and not more than 170lbs in weight...or asian teenagers, you pick...

So also - the masters for the upper shoulder with NO circle, and the gauntlet with CIRCLE are done...so what the armor will consist of:

chest piece
left gauntlet with circle for imperial emblem (decal included)
right gauntlet with no circle
two lower shoulder bells that will attach to chest armor
right upper shoulder with circle for imperial Emblem (decal included)
left upper shoulder with NO circle
Taberd piece that hangs below jedi belt.

only going to make 10-15 sets before Celebration 4 - I can direct you to all the places that you can get the soft parts from if you want to try to make yourselves a IK costume...

PM me privately for details.

Awesome work, but that thows me out of the ring for this costume.

I´m 1,96m, 100 kg with a 118cm chest

Markus

That looks awesome. Too bad I am also too big. (6'3", 215 lbs, 46" chest)

Lemme know when the big guys armor is ready though.

so what kind of modeling clay did you use to sculpt the armor? i am in the process of making some armor for a upcoming project but i dont know what to use as clay.... so any help with this would be much appreciated

Hey, I've lurked on the RPF for a while, but I haven't really posted before. I just stumbled across this thread and realized I have something valuable to contribute.

I've been working on Cade Skywalker for a while now. After a few stops and starts, I think the costume is "done" though there are a few tweaks that need to be made.

I think the stomach plates are a little too large. And the boots need some touching up. If you spot anything else that I haven't let me know. And I haven't forgotten about Cade's tats, I just didn't feel like drawing red sharpie on my arm right now.

How hard would it be to convert one of these chest plates into a female one?

Where did you get your boot plates/toe covers? Are those Jango parts?

I'm digging the imp knight stuff. Really amazing. If all goes as planned we'll have to organize a big get together and photo-op at D*Con for all the legacy costume folk.
Got my Cade still in progress. Waiting on leather to go on sale. I'm doing pretty much the whole thing in leather. Just ran a prototype of the vader shin guard in leather and it works like a dream. Trying to find time to finish the shirt as well, which will also be leather (picked up some supple black lambskin on ebay).

Finally found time to make my ImpKnight sabre. 13" long and 1.5" wide at its widest.

Its a luxeon type led version that uses a Mr fx maul for the sound and a proper driver for the led to get some decent run times from a charge on the batteries (2 hours +).

It has the d ring on the back but can also have a covertec fitted in about 10 seconds :)

I didnt like the design at first as it looked so plain but a 3d 'real' version just looks better and it feels and handles nicely too.
