Here's a pic of my unfinished Cade armor, it needs some slight trimming and of course a paintjob. I might try and finish it.

And here's the duster pattern I bought for the costume.

i haven't read this comic series, so i don't know all the particulars, but does that look like mandalorian armor to anyone else? i could be wrong, but it looks very interesting to me now....

The design is different but it's pretty obvious that's what the designers had in mind. Seems like they were trying to combine all the cool parts of Star Wars with Cade - Jedi, pirate and Mandalorian armor.

Just wanted to let you know the 3 peice suit is ideal for this costume.

Some secrets in progress.

Some friends and I were discussing doing some Legacy costumes recently and decided to tackle them for D*Con. We aren't (as much as we'd like to) doing knights, but other characters. I got assigned to Cade Skywalker myself and will surely post pics once I have the time to get started on something. It's mentally all planned out already and will be mostly leather armor.

I'm almost more excited to see my friend and his girlfriend as the twilek Jedi and darth talon.

Awesome.. I hope I see you guys. I'm doing a Marasiah Fel costume for D*con, should be fun :)

Yep, spotted that just from the cool hair :)
I spot celebrities in SW comics all the time. Emperor Fel is Charles Bronson, Konrad Rus is Henry Gibson.
In Union, it was FULL. A team of Imperials try to wreck Luke's wedding. The faces were Bruce Campbell, Peter Stormare, Steve Buscemi, and Jack Nicholson.
The Alliance were Bruce Willis, and Tommy Lee Jones. Mara Jade was Mira Sorvino, and Mara's never looked better :)

Small update on the Cade armor.

Everything's glued together now, it's just a matter of attaching black vinyl to the back of it so the chest diamond has something to attach to. I'm thinking about etching out the chest symbol with a dremel before painting to give it an additional bit of realism, any thoughts?

I run this site and right now we are gathering quite a list of accurate information on the Imperial Knights costume directly from good sources:

Flagship Eclipse

Not saying you have to go there, but it's there for help in your own path of researching these costumes. :)

I would like to share a little progress on my Imperial Knight armour sculpt.

The posts in the left shoulder are there to allow me to take the shoulder "underbell" on and off. It will be a while before the suit is complete. But I am in no hurry.

Be well,
Thomas

looks Great. I finally got my Imperial Knight armor, shoulders, gauntlets and tabert finally ready too. I'd post pics here if I could figure out how to host images. email me if you want to see my completed Red Armor set. It looks quite nice.

Hey Randy,

I hope it´s O.K. if I post the pics for you up here.

So I got these 2 pics from Randy about 2 days before and I just could not wait till the hole armor is ready.

Greetings Guido

Thanks alot Guido. The chest plate is molded, and the red gel coated fiberglass is cooking as we speak, so once out, it gets polished and will look just like these.

now what you see is on the upper shoulder, one side has the 2 inch circle and the other shoulder would not. Same on the gauntlet, one side has a 2 inch circle. In those two inch circle, I have imperial cog stickers to place there...it will be perfect once ready to make a few sets available to those who want them. my plans are to have 3-4 of us wear them around C4 or SDCC or both. - www.ultrasabers.com are making the Luxeon sabers for us.
