Not sure if anyone is interested but Episode I is just now ending....I know they've been doing this quite a bit lately but I don't mind having it on in the background while I surf the web lol....and mentioning it to my gf so she can roll her eyes at me :p

I'm watching Return of the Jedi as I type this. The last time I did an Original Trilogy marathon was back in 1983--one of the local theaters held a special screening of Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back before they showed RotJ for the first time. It was a long time to spend in a movie theater, but it was soooooooo worth it!

I was packing today watching over the shoulder, letting it play in the back ground and man o man - not that this hasnt been said before - but episode one is UNWATCHABLE - episode two is close and episode three is just bad. The dialogue and overuse of CGI makes these movies like Roger Corman with a few bucks. Episode 3 and a New Hope go together like pork and ice cream - 18 years have past and the Empire has none of the technology used during the clone wars - If Luke, Han and Leia were trying to escape from the Death Star with those rolling droids rolling all over the place - they would have been toast. Such a shame - I remember how excited I was before Episode one - now I don't even pay attention to what Lucas is doing.

It is always nice to see. I had the first 3 films playing while I cleaned house, and saw a few minutes of part 5.
Great to run all 6 in a row - great way to see the whole story:thumbsup

In fact, that may have been the last time anyone viewed the OOT on the big screen. :cry :thumbsup

I never thought of it that way, but you're right - shouldn't there have been at least a few destroyer droids rolling around the death star hallways? May be we can petition Lucas to CG them in for e blue Ray penultimate original trilogy release...
