Are you guys refering to these as they are still widely available?

BS546 Pin Plugs

The South African version would be the closest equivalent of the UK style. Apparently this style of plug (BS546) is commonly used in lighting applications not that I've ever personally seen one.
[/b]

no mate the Lugs i am reffering to would have been on the inside of the plug, used to terminate the actual connections.

That's a MGC; they don't have one.[/b]

Its definately not an MGC or a genuine Canadian C1 SMG. Just look at the front sight.

That's a Y-Wing, isn't it? ;)

Do you mean the E-11 cylinders?

Where did the bayonet lug go on this sterling?

Miscellaneous stuff, something has to look familiar

I think those clear parts are Visible V8 pieces. I think just about any clear plastic thingie in ESB is from that kit. ;)

Note the aluminum cones (TIE pilot ears, X-Wing chestboxes, etc) inside the clear pieces.
[/b][/quote]

At the risk of making an a$$ of myself, but those cone shaped pieces - could they be the cone shaped knob on the Luke ROTJ saber?

Yes, the V2 has a detail like that, although I think the jury's still out on whether it's identical to the x-wing and TIE pieces. There's another "close" one on Threepio's chest, but it it isn't knurled like the x/tie ones.

Good catch.

Maybe not a 'discovery', but something I hadn't noticed before...

...but I hadn't noticed the yellow 'star' foam inside the Rebel Officer's helmet before :)

Cheers,
John

lol damn John, why didn't you chime in about the sterling being the same one that you offer casts of? This thing was driving me crazy until I saw your sig.

The source is german satellite broadcast. I'm not 100% but I'm pretty sure it's 1080P. Most are the AVC/H.264 codec, and all of them take some pretty serious hardware to play.
[/b]

The German version is 1080i...

There are also 1080p US Comcast Cable broadcast...

And a 1080p UK sat (SKY) version...

All in H.264...

And yes it's a bitch to play on the average compuer as it take a mess load of CPU power...

Can someone please post a HD pic of Vader in ROTJ when he is walking up the staircase with his cape flipped up on his left shoulder during the fight with Luke. Wait until he is close to the top when you take it so he is larger in the frame.[/b]

Do you have an appox. timestamp for this scene?
