Limited Run Star Wars Han Solo Episode VII Leather Jacket (2025 $150 run)

I'm interested in getting in on the second run (missed the first), but not until someone receives theirs and can give a unbiased review--I have concerns about the quality of the leather based on the pics, and I know that the pics can be misleading in that respect.

Has anyone received theirs yet?

As far as I know, no one has theirs yet, however, I have danny's Jurassic world vest, and the quality is out of the park!

Any word Danny? There's a looming postal strike in my country, I'm worried if it isn't shipped soon it'll be a while before I get it [emoji22]

Hi!

Yes! We're starting to ship them already so they wont' take long, if you need them for a particular day send me a pm and I'll make sure to get the right shipping service for you ;)

Ok I received my jacket yesterday. Here are my observations: 1. The lining is satin instead of cotton like the original; 2. The magnet fasteners are square not rectangle like the original; (Magnets are very weak will not hold jacket shut) 3. The shoulder stitching is on the right shoulder instead of the left shoulder like the original; (This and the magnets should not have occurred) 4. The three greeblies pockets on the left breast appear to be much smaller than the original; 5. I like the color and weight of the leather; 5. This a close replica but no where near the exact replica we were hoping for. 6. The above issues are easily fixable on future orders, not sure what to do in light of the official jacket now being offered by matchlesslondon.com ($1,500).

Anyone else receive their jacket?

dannylopuz, you might want to do a last-minute QA check on the jackets. Seems a couple details might be wrong. (See below and above).

The stitching issue must be a mistake, because it was correct on the prototypes Danny showed us.

The magnets also look rectangular on the prototype.

Regarding the greeblie pockets- are they smaller than on the prototype? They look fairly wide there. Can you measure them? If so, that might be a mistake as well because I checked with Danny to make sure that the run of metal greeblie tubes I'm doing will fit.

Here are some pictures of the stitching errors; magnet sizing errors; satin lining; and pocket sizes.

Hmm... the area where the collar and yoke meet hasn't been corrected either. What about the cuffs? Is there still a seam around the circumference at the bottom of the cuffs? (There shouldn't be.) I was under the impression that the errors pointed out had been taken care of:

Yes! Starting to ship them this week with the corrections made!

@dannylopuz please chime in here and communicate with us ASAP.

It's completely understandable that daily updates are not feasible when you have a ton of work piling up, and exacting 100% screen-accurate perfection may not be reasonable to expect, but information on this jacket and exactly what changes are being addressed have been lacking- especially since the needed changes should be super-easy for a skilled craftsman. It's also curious that the jackets began shipping without the final version being shown first.

Absolutely no offense intended, but if things aren't cleared up soon, I'm afraid folks are going to start losing patience. Clear and regular communication is absolutely essential for runs on the RPF.

If you can't meet the accuracy levels, say so clearly and let folks decide whether or not to stay in the run. Obfuscation and silence is not going to help anyone.

Completely agree. Assurances were given that the inaccuracies were corrected, and unless the Pawn's jacket is a glitch, this doesn't
appear to be the case. I'm beginning to feel a bit apprehensive about this.

Tomorrow it will be exactly 6 months since I sent payment. I'm happy waiting for quality, even though summer is halfway over. Let's hope Danny chimes in there soon.

Hey guys!

No reason to feel apprehensive, I'm getting married in a couple of months so I delegated some stuff but don't worry, we haven't shipped all the jackets and apparently not all of the jackets have these issues so we're in the best place to polish those details in the rest of the jackets (that includes you JoatrashFX) and thank you to The Pawn for pointing that out. If you happen to get a jacket with issues you just have to send me a pm and we'll send you a new one, not a problem at all, but chances are you won't since most jackets are exactly where they should be to make sure they're perfect.

Danny

EDIT, sorry forgot to mentio, I already messaged The Pawn to have everything be as it should be,

Thanks for getting back to us Danny, but at this point... that's just not enough of a reply. We need more information and reassurances about what is happening.

Congrats on the wedding- it's understandable that this will take a lot of your time but honestly, It's not our problem if you delegated this to another person that is messing things up. We can't do anything about that- only you can.

The pattern on the jacket that has been sent out is still wrong. Are you saying that different jackets sent out are using different patterns? Some of us are overseas... getting a wrong jacket means 6-8 weeks of turnaround in postal time alone. We're already getting too little communication from you- how's that gonna be when we need to chase you for a replacement? You've collected over $10K from us so far and we deserve more than this.

You need to post shots of the final jacket. Clear photos and written information that show what has and what will not be fixed. Solid information on when they will ship to different people. And some measure of assurance that a lot of us are not going to get randomly incorrect jackets.

I absolutely hate disputes about these kinds of things and I don't do this lightly. In all my many years on the RPF I've been as lucky as to rarely have to deal with seller issues. I always give people the benefit of the doubt but things need to markedly improve once people start pointing to issues for that faith to be sustained.
