I wanted to show you all my DH17 collection.

First up is the ANH stunt. The gun body is cast from a screen used gun so its pretty accurate overall.

Next is the ESB version. This one is a WIP so some parts are missing. Its made from real Sterling parts, MR parts, machined parts and vintage V8 parts.

And this one is the ROTJ version. This one is made from a real MGC Sterling. The only things missing are the springs along the scope rail.

And lastly, the MR version.

Awesome work as always! Thanks for sharing the pics. I never knew about all the greeblies on the ESB version. Learn something new every day eh?:)

Niiiice! :)

Y'know, I still have that "ROTJ version but based on a Sterling" DH17 I got from you years ago--in pieces on the workbench! I can never leave well enough alone and started tinkering with it, and there it sits... :lol

Awesome work!

Those recent framegrabs confirmed the disk. Looks perfect there as they probably didn't cast the selector and had empty space. Well done.

Didn't get the cast from 30 year old mould, but have all the parts for the others except the spring. MR was modified for movable trigger & slightly weathered.

Are you sure it's a spring and not some wacky model part?

Great, great work. For some reason, this blaster doesn't quite get the love that a DL-44 or an E-11 gets, but it is still a great design. Looks like you've captured them each very, very well. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Hey Treadwell...wasn´t it MY DH17 you bought back the days ;) ?
You know, MarCus vs. MarKus, UK vs. german "blaster master" :lol

Hey Marcus, VERY nice work my man!
Seems like you´re catching up slowly but surely :cool

Markus

Marcus and Markus are the blaster-masters!

The scope rings for the ANH blaster even look accurate from here (small laptop screen...). :)

Nice - thanks for the pics:thumbsup
- One of these days I need to get the MR one to replace my toy conversion :confused
