I'm trying to resist preordering. I must admit, the trailer made me want to buy this. Not for the movies, which I already have in HD, but for the extra content.

im starting to hate this release more and more, and not just because of the lack of the original editions either. this whole set has a lazy attitude about it, like they really arent trying. no original films but lets have the original making-ofs with lots of model spfx yet its nowhere to be seen in the movies themselves. compare this to the rings or blade runner and there's no comparison. **** you george, cant you do anything right for a change.

How come the original trilogy is $39.99, and the prequel trilogy is $39.99, but the complete set is $89.99 ? Am I losing about $10 by not buying them separately? Does the bonus material only come with the complete set?

Bonus material only comes with the complete set. Its on 3 blu-ray discs so for $10 it's not too bad.

Very sad to see a huge company like LFL with ranks of artists and millions of dollars all focusing on just Star Wars cant get the color right.
Give it to some college kids and I bet they would realize that they screwed up the color correction when they saw the funky colored sabers and massively over-saturated colors.
It just goes to show how lazy they are over there. Someone needs to go beat them with a red FX saber yelling "What color is this?!"

Although I noticed that the scene where the sabers cross in front of the emperor is less pink now. In the DVD it's like BARBIE pink, now it's just a bit of a faded red, and the core seems to be back. The pink core in ROTJ made me buggy. But I only saw the clip quickly, so I could be wrong...but looks like they fixed some places?

Unfortunately probably quite a few more. He's realized that people keep buying every new edition he puts out so why the hell should he stop?
