Star Wars Andor (Disney+ TV series)

This is also the end of Mon Mothma as a Mother, a wife, a friend. It is her catharsis and it's meant to be long and painful to watch her emotional realization of whats to come.

I think I got that after the 13th cut back to her dancing. Not sure if all 17 were necessary (yes, that may be an exaggeration).

I'm all for slow burn. But at some point the story moves so slowly it seems more like ashes where you're not even sure if there's still an active ember or not. I hope the pace pics up a bit from eps 4 onward. Otherwise my social-media-ruined attention span might not be able to cope.

4-6 not much change in pace
7-9 Crank it up to 11, edge of your seat type.

Alright, I watched episodes 7 and 8 of Andor last night and absolutely loved them. My wife, who was very critical of BOBF, laid next to me the entire time. The episodes are over and we go to bed, she doesn’t hardly say anything. Im waiting for her review. We laid in bed for a few minutes and then, mixed with many explicatives, says how much she hates Andor as a series.

I wasn’t a fan of episodes 1-6, but 7 and 8 were fantastic. Again, as someone who is a fan of the Empire, I found myself at odds with how the Imperials really conduct themselves. Same way I felt on Ferrix, but even worse in the Ghorman Plaza. I was glad Dedra lived to lie another day though.

Looking forward to catching episode 9 (alone) before dinner tonight! LOL
To me 9 was even better than 8. Hope it's the same for you.

They were sorta cavalier about openly saying Yavin in episode 9.
The next to the last scene of episode 9 was epic and heartbreaking (also brutal for Andor the character). The score and editing were so good.
The very last scene felt like a post credits. I wish they had been in opposite order.
I am bummed its over next week.

I have a few questions as I fast forward through most of it except Luthen scenes and a few other things here and there.

Why is Luthen become a background player who is mostly just standing around and grumpy? It seems like a completely different character from the first season.

Why is Luthen's assistant suddenly such a hard core bad A$$

I know Mon is a big weenie who's mad that Luthen killed her friend, and I also think it was bull that he did that, but why does everybody seem to be mad at Luthen or talked about he burned bridges? Mon's sister said they're no longer his puppets?

WTF happened to this amazing character?

Well, a lot of the questions you have could probably be answered during some of the conversations being had while you're fast forwarding.

Yeah, I’m puzzled by that as well. It does seem like Kleya may have a larger role in this (partnership) than has been revealed. Is she his daughter or something? There’s definitely something else going on, because she’s suddenly calling additional shots.

For me Luthen was the coolest character. I was convinced he was a Jedi and knew Palpetine.

Now he is just a grumpy guy.

I feel like the deliberately changed his character and reduced his role for season 2. Maybe they did not like how much attention he got.

Also no one will ever convince me he was not intended to be a Jedi given his retractable lightsaber/walking stick, and personal crystal that meant a lot to him. His speech, etc..

I really don't get this show.

I loved Luthen. Seems to suck now.

I loved the Manifesto kid. He be dead.

I loved the Fantastic 4 guy Andor murdered. He murders a lot of people. The guy might have just been testing Andor.

I LOVED the Fondor. Barely seen it.

:mad::(:confused::cautious::sick:

What I did like about the show seems to be gone.
