Star Wars Andor (Disney+ TV series)

Honestly can anyone say this is not a lightsaber missing a crystal:

If Luthen is a Jedi, he's a pretty dark one. His own by-proxy murder count is pretty high.

No, I think Mothma is now going to strive for a certain moral ideal that Luthen can no longer be a part of. He'll go quietly into the night so that R1 and ANH continuity is not disrupted.

I am loving the slower pace, BTW. Gives breathing room for world building and character development, so I feel far more immersed in this show over other recent SW content.

I think Luthen is in a difficult place as this lynchpin holding everything together. Until Yavin is solid enough to be the core of the rebellion, it's just him and Kleya. That's why he seems diminished and less active in the story - he's spinning a thousand plates that are all conflicting with each other.

Yep, I saw that now. However, the change did not really distract from the overall story which is the most important thing.

GEEZ, this arc was the best so far! Everyone who is not tuning in is missing out one of the most intense and thrilling pieces made recently. This one has movie quality. It is a nail-biter from beginnng to end. The climax is especially well done and the tense music is further accelerating your pulse. I think this one has the highest re-watchability factor.
AGREED!

Although we know the outcome of most, my heart was POUNDING through out most of the episode!

I don't know how Bail expects not to be treated the same as Mon, given that he gave her the floor.

I didn't get what was the hurdle in their attempts to cut the feed during her speech.

Episode 8 rebel protest was well done. Gradually escalated to the climax, lured to violence by the empire as planned. The massacre that followed was history’s standard response. Excellent and rather uniquely handled battle scenes.
Episode 9 ending left me conflicted over Bix’s decision. Andor was correct is assessing his time was up. He successfully completed too many critical missions. He was a volunteer without military obligation. He knew his skill as a fighter pilot and spy lessened his dependence on luck during those missions. His fights as a rebel soldier and recent massacre survivor was all luck. Bix’s choice on the revolution over her love for Andor was more likely a byproduct of her torture. Bix placed a hold on their relationship on a not so certain rebel victory such that Andor would remain as a leader? Andor knows he is doomed. Makes a good tragedy plot.

It was devastating to hear her message that had a glimpse of hope for them. Like Marva said, that is love and you can't do any thing about it.

Andor has given me some of the best quotes ever. I use them all the time now LOL.

Interesting that some of the movie critics seem to be “mining” comments on this thread after posting. Almost work for word in some cases. May be considered a compliment to RPF contributors or say something about the journalist.

They supposedly don't use the Volume.
Yes, thats what i heard and i was lamenting the fact its too expensive not to and we will be going back to cheap and flat any sw tv show going forward. the difference in quality is obvious to my old movie watching eyes. Last Of The Mohicans....

(i will give "The Stranger Goonies Things" didn't look as cgi clusterbuggery as Marvel lzolz).
