Star Wars Andor (Disney+ TV series)

Or some people assume no search was performed. Was there a thread on Season 2? I didn't find one and thought having one specifically for it would work so one could reference it easily without having to sift through all the Season 1 posts.
At the time your post was created the original Andor thread was already on the first page of the Entertainment section, so you wouldn’t have needed to search to see it there, also the thread had slowed down until NakedMoleRat searched & resurfaced the thread with news of season 2, since then it had been a regular update for the new season & as I said was on the front page of this section when your new thread was created

I enjoyed most of all three episodes well enough.

Besides way too much Chandrilla wedding stuff, the episode 3 attempted rape scene wasn’t necessary. Could have just as easily been a fight without sexual assault.
Sexual assault is a general/wide term to describe any kind of attack on someone...
Finally plopped myself on my friend's couch...a bit slower than the first season and some more sharp/rapid editing would've been nice (especially with the rebels arguing segment:rolleyes::rolleyes:). Overall, I still like that series and I'm eager to see the rest.

Cool--I saw the original Andor thread--again I just thought a separate thread on Season 2 would be a quicker way to access discussion of Season 2--not Season 1.

When Cassian left Yavin-4, I swear he was going to talk to himself and say ‘’ What a bunch of losers !’’ Or ‘’Dam ! What a waste of my time !’’ But he kept quiet.

It is not the show of the century, but after the Acolyte, it is very much watchable… Buuuttt ! Besides the Tie Avenger wings, made of Vibranium or something similar. I suppose it was very much either; laughable or enjoyable to watch, LOL!(y)

So far it is a "Meh" for me - and I don't mind a "slow burn" show, however I do mind when it feels forced. But while the first three episodes certainly had a few moments, I'm struggling with this: other than catching up with where the characters are post S1, I don't think those three hours moved the plot forward in any meaningful way. I will keep watching to give it a chance, but my current take is that those three hours could have been edited down significantly.

For some reason I clicked S2 Ep1 and it started on Ep3, I was a bit lost for a while.
I like it so far with the second Episode in the forrest being my least favoriteof the three.

Was this planet supposed to be Yavin ?

That Niamos Wedding tune is now my new ear worm, I hear it everywhere!

We went to see Ewan Mcgregor in a new play The Master builder adapted from an Ibsen play of the same name.

Front row seats four feet away, it was a good night and not the swoosh of a saber in sight.

Looking forward to this week's episodes.

I agree that the pacing was off. They could have easily condensed those 3 episodes into 1. I get it, what was suppose to be a whole season had to be reduced to 3 episodes since the original plan was to do 5 seasons but I think it could have been made a little tighter.

What we saw in those 3 episodes took place over 3 days. It's going to be strange to jump another year forward after that but we'll see how it plays out. They have a lot of ground to cover.

I've never really been into the Chandrila storyline, way too much of it. The aesthetic is very offputting and reminds me of the High Republic Jedi. Mon Mothma is very inconsistent but has had a few interesting moments in the last season so theres still hope for her. Characters surrounding her in these episodes were exceptionally dull. Even Luthen surprisingly.

Cassian was fine, cool Tie fighter. His plot line really dragged on. I still like Bix a lot. I agree that massive editing would've made these episodes more appealing. Next week should be better.

Love the series. One gripe though, the cuts from the wedding scenes to the crop planet scenes and back, cut after cut after cut, it gets annoying pretty fast. I don't need to know what the two groups are doing each second...

A bit of help if someone would be so kind-
Luthien was speaking with a male born on Chandrilan, but raised on Naboo, mother is Ghorman.
Tay cross body checks him as he walks by to leave.
Thoughts on who he is?
