Star Wars Andor (Disney+ TV series)

If I had to guess, I would expect only Cassian, Vel and Cinta will survive the mission (since they are important enough to be on the poster), while the rest of the team are giving off a serious dead meat vibe. I suspect that manifesto will not be finished...

I think Skeen is going to screw everyone and that most of the team will die as a result.

I know the AK blaster topic is an old one, but Brandon Herrera "The AK Guy" did a quick video on it.

Yep, it’s like he’s going to snap, like Norman Bates

Good episode. I enjoyed how little fuss there was over some of their losses (in terms of both characters' reactions and the editing)- they just carried on.

One point the rebels may want to remember for next time is that they should save themselves some trouble and set weapons for stun!

This is a more complex show for the mature audience, with developing characters and slower building action. I get that we might need the fast vroom-vroom & pew-pew from time to time, but this series is a breath of fresh air among the more clownish shows we get these days (not just Star Wars).

This show is FINALLY giving us the Empire and the Rebellion!

We’re being immersed in the political intrigue and being shown the Rebels are gorillas where the ends justify the means.

It’s not the shiny black and white that all Star Wars before has presented. It’s gritty, it’s real, it’s the war in Star Wars!

I’m not just loving it, I’m grateful for it! After 45 years I finally get the whole picture of this immersive world. Not just the bad guys, the hero’s and their laser swords.

Thank you for Andor!

I was shaking the entire second half of the episode, the tension and pay-off were so well done. And to cap it off, the first “real” bit of nostalgic imagery with the TIE sequence was done so well. I’m so excited to see more.

Wow, yeah that was fantastic. I was at the edge of my seat. I agree it was neat seeing the TIE sequence. I love seeing more aspects of Imperial life and loooooove that we still haven't seen stormtroopers, just Imperial soldiers. In my book, they're really getting some things right. Overall this show is just next level above most everything we've gotten until now. My hope is when stormtroopers do finally show up, they will actually be scary and not the bumbling, inept morons they've been portrayed as, especially as of late.

I am curious to know what happens to Cinta. Also, didn't that freighter require a rail to take off and leave orbit? Curious to know how it could leave the creepy lobot doctor's planet? The twist with Skeen was nice and I appreciate Andor's cold-bloodedness but was surprised he just killed the guy on the spot. Lol!

I got the impression it was just for that location, something to do with the astrological disturbances from The Eye. Wasn't it commented that there were custom controls because the set up isn't standard for that ship?

The visuals in this episode were spectacular. The eye and the way they incorporated it into the heist escape was brilliant. Everything was so very well done well, extremely impressed. Going to watch it again as soon as I have a chance.
