Star Wars Ahsoka (tv series)

I asked my wife if she was going to drink and watch this to provide commentary. She said maybe.

Then I brought up the time she cried because Luke called R5-D4, “this R2 unit,” because he’s a country hick who doesn’t really know anything about droids, and she had no recollection of that, LOL.

Question guys… after ep8 I stopped buying new canon books and really stopped caring about where they were going.. so I’m alittle rusty and figured I’d ask here

Baylan mentions “few have lived to see what he became”

in canon when they leaked the info about leias dad being darth vader, did they mention it was Anakin Skywalker?

Was am curious if the galaxy now knows Anakin Skywalker was darth vader..

According to this article, only a very few knew that Vader was Anakin, although The galaxy knew that Vader was Leia's father.

The article tells who knew, & where/when it was confirmed, as of the KENOBI series.

The one connection here that may make sense is Thrawn. He was able to figure out who Vader was since he had a little experience with both Anakin and Vader and he was a master tactician that studied others. This is similar to Tarkin, who went on missions with Anakin during the Clone Wars and picked up on details when he was Vader to connect the dots.

It appears Baylan has some connections to Thrawn, so it’s possible he knows from him. Though it doesn’t seem like info Thrawn would offer up normally.

"When gone am I, the last of the Jedi will you be."

"Except for a boatload of other people who are former Jedi turned evil making Vader nothing special, survivors of order 66, Jedi who quit, disappeared during the main fight, and re-appeared after it was all over." "Other then them, the last of the Jedi will you be."

-Yoda

I'll reserve judgement until I see it, but this version of Hera looks like bad cosplay.
I would not go that far.

But I probably wouldn't have cast MEW in this role, only because she looks so different from the look in the cartoon.
MEW is gorgeous and talented, but she just doesn't look like the character that we are used to.

Wow!! Perfect thanks for explaining! Last I read, Baylan works for thrawn

In the old canon/EU very few people knew Anakin became Vader. Luke and Leia never told anyone for obvious reasons. I remember one book where Luke comically (not sure if that was intentional) mentions that not even their clout could convince people he became good at the end. I think they mentioned that certain people suspected, like Tarkin and Admiral Yularen because they had worked closely with Anakin during the Clone Wars and recognized some of the tactics he used in Vader. Others just assumed he was a Jedi who turned. I seem to remember someone saying that Leia had to step down as leader of the New Republic in the new canon because someone leaked that Vader was her father. Not sure. I also heard they did a comic where Padme's handmaidens didn't believe the story of her death and they figured out Vader killed her and went to work for the Rebellion. That last bit sounds like it might actually be kind of cool though.

Not being sarcastic but I think this was a beautiful little documentary

Always two, there are…
