Star Wars “Original Prototype Lightsabers from 1976 Meeting”

Are they taking the pi$$ ? £10,000 starting price for a couple of old flash handles that were never seen on screen or even used in production and some old typed up notes ?
One born every minute though i suppose :lol

These are being sold by elstree. wasn't there some controversy over some other SW stuff they sold a while back? I think it may have been a vader helmet. Something like it being a modern cast. Anyone remember this?

The one with the weird pipe like mounting on the mask ? yeah i remember that.

But seriously even if these are what they say they are, which is dubious anyway, but even if they were they ain't worth that much money.
I mean come on it's just an MPP and a Graflex they are not prototype sabers nothings been touched on them, they're flash units nothing more and there's nothing special about them they have never been used on SW.
Are a few old notes worth £10,000 + ?

I have heard that Norman Harrison got a serious wrist slapping
from LFL with regards to the Elstree Props. I think it is under
new management now though.

You know, I have an extra flashgun or two as well. Even have a 5-cell Heiland which would make a great "Light Claymore". :D
