Star Trek TOS scratch build Tricorder

I recently built up a functioning hero tricorder using shells made by a friend on another forum. All the metal work is mine from scratch. Features include a motorized spinning jewelarama, removable data disc and a scanner wireless processor unit in the bottom compartment.

Damn thats AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love what you did with the bottom drawer, great design!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you all for the kind words about the build. here are some close up shots of the modular mid compartment assembly. Consisting of the micro gear mother that spins the jewelarama disc and the mechanics behind the removable data disc.
