I am glad you are pleased with the result, which is made of American white oak (for the base), Mahogany (for the shaft) and Jarrah (for the blade), a Eucalypt from Western Australia, all of it finished with 5 coats of Polyurethane varnish. It was an interesting project and I enjoyed the making of it. By the way: the piece of Jarrah I bought in Australia in 1991, then brought it with me to Munich, carted it to London, and finally shipped it to North Carolina before it ended up with you, almost back in Australia.
Regarding payment - there is still no hurry: presumably we will live long and prosper.
