As far as I know, they're all real props, photographed on set. Beyond that, as to what's 'hero' or 'stunt', screen-used versus production-made, I don't know.

I remember one of the printed technical manuals had a great drawing of a PADD opened up, so you could see the weird diagonal circuitry and isolinear optical chips inside.

Attached is a screen-cap of something similar, but it's obvious they just stuck some found circuit boards in there.

Also attached are some other caps of PADDs, not from the Technical Manual CD-ROM.

Thanks again i will make some designs well try to on all of them eventually but i have a major Padd project going on thats coming to the RPF shortly

Since no one posted, I should post my stuff for the small Padd You can find my stuff at the link below. I spent years going over every reference book, talking to people who worked on the graphics. I own original props. I have done tons of work to get the graphics and Padds. correct. With the colors used on the show. Check it out. Will have new templates for other Padds. Soon.

I found your website a while ago and loved the pics especially the enterprise D & the Odyssey is it? they look ace i have lots of templates just graphics i needed so i will show my finished piece with the enterprise d in the small one i have. They are amazing i tip my hat to you.
The padds are good to entertain my brother for a while on a sunday sort of thing so thanks very much

hello everybody. I am from germany. the PADDs of techno are made by me. I've sold some time on ebay. now I'm doing it just for me and not sell them actually. the displays I've either made yourself or templates taken from PADDs. I also have a template of the enterprise d.

I think you misunderstood i was giving examples of padd graphics that were cool and that i wanted to design some sort of ship list graphic for MY Padds that i've designed myself.
The graphics were the point of this thread to find or design some that suited my large & small style padd. I thought the little padd i made would look good with a enterprise D like the small padd i showed looking good with a enterprise E ship in. They are a set of 5 i got from you on ebay years ago and not claiming it was my work.
I was trying to show my idea of a fleet report of wolf 359 which i got inspiration from that padd to a member who posted some info. Just wanted to clear that up
