heres mine: it has lights makes sound, and moirre spins, its metal btw, and has the call sound as well.

i know its not a scratch project but it looks really nice.

Where did you get the cool lid... I agree though, smooth body to match the smoothness of the cartoon. Like the lid is smooth...see?

The lid came from Osprey. I am not sure if he is a member here or not. As far as a smoothie, not on this one.
 
Just a quick update...
I just recieved word from the builder that the TAS Communicator will be finished in a day or two, so hopefully in a week or so I'll post pics of the final build.
 
Here is the finished build. It is fantastic and as far as I know its one of a kind so far.

What a cool idea!
Since you asked for critiques...
I'd say thicker hinges, smooth body shell, no visible screws on bottom, and the inside speaker cover should be solid, no mesh.
Still, looks great!:)

second that. I was going to say remove the speaker mesh. Still neat though.

If I have another built, it'll have thicker hinges and no speaker grill just solid. It will be a no go on the smooth body and no screws. That's strictly my preference.
