It'll be nice to see them finished.

Right now, they remind me of the multi-compartment plates I use for my 3 year olds ;)

Thats cool is my does my versions look the same as the screen used prop
Here is the odd thing I saw many screen used items that day, and that one stands out the most because it was a re used pad. It had been used in an other Trek show, and was repainted. Under the screen was the older image from the older production. As for details of the pad I am sorry I can't remember the details enough except I recalled that pad the second I saw it, and the little story I just mentioned.

Yeah I used that one as reference for the size and style, but I made another graphic as you can see. So Its not just copying that same one.

Thanks I am happy that you guys like the design.

Overall I like all of the "new" designs!
I was never a big fan of re-using "recognizable" props for different races! So the Andorian PADD falls into that category for me! Almost as bad as the Cardassian PADD showing up as a Federation PADD in one of the last TNG movies! But that's just me!
I really like the idea of using the round button layout like on the first and second images! Usually that design was only shown on the larger control panels so I found it appealing to see it on a hand held device!
I especially like the third one as it looks like something Captain Braxton might use aboard the U.S.S. Relativity!
For those of you who might not be familiar with the references the ship is the time-ship from the 29th century, from the Voyager 5th season episode "Relativity"!
Great work, great imagination and I too hope to see a few of these done up soon, Petseal

Hey I know its a super late reply, but hey. :D I always find it hard to understand how people typed info into the padd. To me you never say a keyboard on the desk or padds. So I design it to do just that.

Now as for the Relativity padd. I had a very hard time designing that. I had 5-6 pages of designs just for that padd, but I was not happy with any of them. So I went back and checked out out the ep again and saw that may elements on the ship was based on the Federation delta. I used that to design the padd.

As for updates for me. Right now I spending my cash on buleprints from voyager and TNG. I should have some cash soon to do some padds. :D
