Star Trek Into Darkness (Pre-release)

It probably won't, but that single image is pretty much all the trailer department folks and a lot of users here...

seem to care about.

You are entirely too predictable. I knew when I made my comment that you would not be able to resist. Too funny.

This may be just another one of my IGNORANT views,

You went into the Star Trek "Best of Both Worlds" in theaters April 25th thread and started making very poor and ill informed arguments about TNG being shown in the theater. You made statements like "They were shot for TV, before HD" and "so they could justify another $90.00 out of each Trek fan again!". Not only can you get new copies of the BluRay season sets for around $70-$77, but they're actually cheaper compared to when the original DVDs were released. Did you know that the season DVDs were priced at around $120-$140? And that was using the broadcast tape sources coupled with very mediocre special features.

So when you start talking about stuff you don't understand and justify it with a "TOS was a better show" in a non TNG vs. TOS thread, calling your arguments ignorant is pretty light. Ignorance is curable after all, and seeing as how you cleared all your posts from that thread, I'd say I was right.

Oh, and one other thing. ******* is already a proper synonym for a male donkey, so using the mascot from Jack in the Box is not really necessary.

Excuse me sir I, I was referring to the replica's in that shot.

But I've read enough of your threads to understand that a movie could be about Amazonian Goddess's that kill all men on Earth, and you would say they were portrayed as weak female housewives.

You clearly never read them either. (The posts are there, they've been quoted!) All you heard was TOS...and went into a SAVE MY SHOW rant. You're like a dog that is being yelled at for getting on the counter, knocking stuff off the edge, eating a cookie and crapping on the floor.

All you hear is, blah, blah, blah, blah, COOKIE, blah, blah, blah.

And the Jack was just to prove a point......dip stick! There is s term you're probably familiar with regionally!

If ignorance is curable, sign up for some classes, you lousy.....

No, no. Keep editing your posts. I'm sure you'll get it right eventually.

Was Robert older or younger? I can't recall, but if he's younger he doesn't exist...

He exists - He was in the first movie - remember when the tiny little Dennis the Menace Kirk stole the Corvette, he passes a kid and screams "Robbie!"

If you check out the deleted scenes on the Blu Ray there is a much longer scene with Kirk and Robert talking about how much they hate their Uncle and their mom being off planet.

And why is it when an argument breaks out in here, or bad energy is being tossed about - it forces my hand down my pants?!?!?! Damn you Carol Marcus - you got me perched on my computer buck naked with thoughts of a Genesis Torpedo being launched into a dead crater (if you know what I mean)! All the while you're screaming "Can i COOK or can't I !!"

Hello Folks

Okay now I think I have an idea "what" Cumberbatch is and how it "relates" back to Khan.My theory is based on Admiral Marcus's statement in the trailer "one of our best agents". Given his abilities I think that Cumberbatch character is an "Augment" who Star Fleet Intel (or the shadow Section 31) created. Now this might go against what some would think about the "high" principles of the Federation and that they would "never" use or create such. However in a Galaxy with Klingons and Romulans and other more physically superior species, why not create such "agents" and thus give them a better chance against physically superior aliens. The downside is however the Khan "syndrome" so to speak.

Who's Robbie?
Wasnt Kirk's brothers name George Samuel Kirk?

Also in the first, I think Kirk yells "Johnny".

I read this three times and still still have no idea what the hell it means. But I LIKE THAT. And the CuCumberback mystery has been solved my friend - He is Commander Garth. "One of our best agents."
Garth of Izar was a decorated, highly-regarded officer in the Federation Starfleet, who rose to rank of Fleet Captain in the course of his service through the mid-23rd century. His career dissolved in a dramatic descent into madness and attempted genocide, resulting in his commitment to the Elba II asylum for the criminally insane.

Tell me that's not what we're seeing in the trailer.

@Jet...THANK YOU, Good Sir!

I have not laughed this hard in weeks. Awesome:lol

Yeah - you're welcome - Just wanted to diffuse the negative energy so I could focus on the task at hand. It took a whole tube of Easy Glide to get that chubby nacelle of JJ's Enterprise out - I have been known to tell tales of the old Enterprise and how it's design was a bit more.... ahem, sex friendly.

Was it? Y'know what - I was confusing the "tombstone mistake" from the Gary Mitchelle episode where they put Captain Kirk's middle name as Robert.

Hello Jet Beetle

Maybe because I had a typo in it. I should have typed "against" instead of the word "again" in my post. I was trying to say that some "fans" would say that the Federation would "NEVER" violate its own laws against Eugenics to make an "enhanced" agent. When Peter Weller's character said "best agent" and I saw the "powers" that Cumberback demonstrated on the Klingons I developed the theory I posted. I didn't know that he was playing "Garth" the last thing I heard was that he was supposed to be a character that died in the first scenes of the TOS Roman Gladiator episode.
