Limited Run Star Trek Cricket Phaser Electronics with Lights & Sounds

Is there a way to get the eight led version? Also i have issues with paypal is there an alternate way to pay?

The 8 LED version is no longer available. An alternative form of payment would be with an International Money Order. PM me for details.

well poop. I am also in need of a ten led one, but without sound. It would be great if the left button turned it on and the leds acted as a battery meter. The settings go down as the batter dies. Like the prop. with the trigger making the nose light. I really wish i had had the funds to get the eight. being poor sucks.

The left button does turn the phaser on, unless you have the buttons configured in reverse, then the right button will turn the phaser on.

Why would you want the display to act like a battery power meter? And the trigger will light up the tip (firing emitter). I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish.

i suppose the ten without sound would be fine as adjustable power level would be good. Is there a way i can get the new features with the eight as well as i'd like to have one to replicate the prop and one to replicate the "Real World" device.

In order to get 8 LEDs I would have to go back to my original design and have a special run of boards printed. That would cost about $500. And with only one person even interested in purchasing one it would not be worth it. Now if you were looking at purchasing 20 of them, then we could talk.

I am not even sure the screen used hero Crickets had adjustable displays. I think the left button just turned them on. And with the small batteries they used there was not enough juice to power all of the LEDs at the same time. That is why the display LEDs appear to drop when the firing LEDs are activated. Red LEDs always hog a lot of power.

The first of the new Cricket boards will be available in 2 weeks.

I should mention that I took the opportunity to add Dustbuster 2.0 electronics to this run as well. The new Dustbuster circuits will be available for $95 each. The optional LiPo battery system for this phaser will be available for $25. The new Dustbuster electronics has all of the same features as the new Cricket electronics (and most of my other phaser electronics).

As a special limited time offer, anyone that orders a set of Cricket 2.0 electronics for $75 can also get the Dustbuster 2.0 electronics for the same price: $75. So $150 will get you both sets of electronics. And shipping is included.

I really expected a better response to these phaser boards. Oh well, they are going to be available from me on eBay if anyone decides they need one.

There's not going to be much action for two weeks - that's when I'd expect payment to roll in.

I would like a full fiction set of ten. However I am disabled and my November money is going to a tos phaser remote. My December,January and February money is tied up with ta convention in February. So if they are available in march. If you were willing to hold a set aside I can garentee you a sale.

The Cricket and Dustbuster boards arrived a few days ago.

I had a bit of an issue with the code working for all 10 LEDs, but with a bit of tweaking the code now works perfectly.

I have also tested the fit inside the Stapleton Cricket body kit. I have to trim each board slightly, but then they fit very well. You should not have any issue with your board when you get them. I am sending a couple to Myron so he can do his own assessment and be prepared for any questions you may have.

I will be shipping all of the pre-orders this week. So if you are on the list in the first post, get ready to receive them.

Hopefully I can post a few pictures to show you what the boards look like. I may even do a short video on YouTube.

If anyone still wants a Cricket or a Dustbuster board there is still time to get in on this run. I will be listing them on eBay as well, but at a higher price than here.

Just updated the first post. All but one of the pre-orders has shipped. Watch your mailboxes!

The final 2 Crickets just shipped. But that does not mean I do not have more. If you want one at the RPF Members rate ($75) then you will have until December 15th. After that you can purchase them through eBay at $85 each.

I thought the Dustbuster phaser electronics would be more popular. Guess not. :cry

I just received my electronics today and boy are they awesome. Crystal clear sound, nice lighting effects. The first run was pretty good, but this is a great improvement. If you are on the fence, definitely pick one of these up while they are available.
