That looks awesome.

If it doesn't bother you then don't worry about the Tricorder but if it does then maybe you might want to consider redoing it depending on how hard it will be to do since it is a competed piece. The other option is to just build another one and sell the first one.
 
Fantastic job. Tackling installing the electronics keeps me from attempting it myself. Again, fantastic job and congrats on a solid new addition to your collection.
