45mm is the official size. As a side note to your side note... that site is weird. For me at least, it seems to clash with other webpages. Like TheRPF. If I go to that link, it doesn't format correctly (same thing happened when I linked to it before) and if I click the "home" button, it takes me to the RPF home page. Weird.

Good news and slightly less good news: The buckles are almost here. They're in Salt Lake, and will arrive soon. The less good news is there was $83 in import taxes nobody told me would be there. Very annoying. Hopefully will arrive tomorrow or Wednesday.

£25. One buckle is £11.97. With VAT of £4.79, it brings it to just about £29 if you get two. So the minimum is two. Get one for you, sell one to someone in need!

I have no problem absorbing a share of the additional cost (and no one else should, either). I'm happy to pay a few extra bucks to help cover the fees.
