Hey guys!
I'm taking photos of the prototype right now. after wearing it I see some minor details that we'll change to make it more screen accurate but I'm happy to let you guys know that we can start the run and that the pants are super comfy! For these pants we took two full days (8 hours and 12 hours each) just to sew it together. The pants are very cool looking but take an insane amount of time to be ready. First time is always the hardest tho and I'm sure we'll be able to reduce the amount of hours on the pants since after the first one you can develop a sewing plan to expedite the process and if you're sewing a larger order you can just divide the work to expedite it. However I don't think we can reduce it more than an average of a full day of sewing per pair of pants in a larger order, that is probably hiring some extra people to have lots of hands on it (something I've done in the past) which is why I can have your pants for the premiere... but only a limited amount, I'm assuming about 10 in total but depending on how fast I get the orders I may be able to extend it to 15.
I will not be charging anything extra for expediting the pants, however you would have to pay for expedited shipping since that is probably gonna be needed for you to get them before the premiere in May 5th. If you live in another country where the premiere is sooner let me know so we can work with your dates in mind. If for whatever reason you can't get the pants before the premiere don't worry, the blaster holsters are being developed separately and I can send you those for the premiere, wear those and my spats (currently in the final stages of remaking them from scratch) and you'll be set to go. Price for the pants? only 165 bucks! Will be posting updates and photos very soon.
TL;DR: Pants take long to make but if you don't delay your order you'll wear them for the movie.
