SS Y-Wing Yea the one no one wants to make?

:thumbsup Thanks Troop

Ok that keel line always gives a problem
so we are going to chisel that right out of
there, now it's below the clay and I can fill it back
in. It's easier to sand similar surfaces rather than
dissimilar, the clay is much harder than the styrene
and it shows in the final pull.

I went ahead and pinned the neck to the lower hull as well
the hulls' are finished now......

I don´t know, the cockpit pod looks strange. The "rear crosssection" or profile should have a curvature, and not be trapezoidal as you cut out the black styrene. Or are you still going to build it up from there with more clay?

I was thinking when I cut it out (and the front)I could just kind of
tweak the curve in by hand as it would be freed up,
and then cut a bulkhead to fit?

I was looking at the the pattern for the fuselage and I def want to
make some changes down at the nose, it needs more curvature for sure.....
maybe I can work on the back as well......

Great work. I see what you mean about the curve, but getting that right will make this very nice!

I just built a vac machine, and its really great for round areas. Stuff that took forever to form is just sssssap and its done. Loving it. :)

Gonna need some sanding previous one on the
right new one on the left. I have as much roll
as I can get in regards to it working with the
neck part which has a flat spot in it.
