Got some More done. Mounted the Cone, and started drawing out the mounts for the Hydraulics. and also got the grating and moldings glued down on the cargo boxes. and finished the lower wing pattern and its ready to mold.

Al, Just repeating what everyone has been saying, this is such a fantastic build and the information you’re giving here is priceless. I will be working on a project for my wife that will require mold making and fiberglass casting so I’ve been studying up on the subject and I’ve taken lots of notes on your build here. Can I ask you what oz of fiberglass you are using on the Betty?

Really glad i could help out and glad you guys like my stuff.

Be on the look out in about a year or sooner for a studio scale how to book.
It will have all the Techniques the pros use and a bunch of mini articles on alot of famous movie models written by the model maker who built it.

As for the fiberglass i use. Its a medium duty cloth. I like between 6 and 7.5 ounce cloth for parts. You get a strong but light part. And as i always say. If you ever need any help just PM me. Always willing to share what i know.
