SS Betty (Alien Resurrection)

Had a chance to hang out w/ Al in San Antonio and see this beauty up close again. The work is incredible.......the client is a lucky dawg indeed.

When assembled, this beast is going to be massive.

Woow, I want to see this beast in person!!
It must be bigger like bison.
Thanks for your report.

Thanks guys, its really hard to see how big it is in pics. Once i get the rolling stand finished ill take some pics of it next to my car. That should help the scale a little bit.

Are there any tutorials to explain how to cast parts like that? rpf thread or youtube, either way would be great. I am about to start a 1:350th scale Enterprise-C build, and I have never had to cast my own parts before...
Your build is awesome, btw. My heart skips a beat every time I see you have added a post! Just awesome!

OK Al... you can now tell us the truth... You're making some Bespin buildings ! :)

LOL, right Julien. never noticed it.

Cadeus. yes these are hollow cast in Epoxy fiberglass.

I got two sets of arms done, just need to laminate them together. and also have the actuators with the pistons almost done. ill laser cut the mount for them this week. they still need a little red putty for a few minor air bubbles but thats about it. and some primer.

Next up, its either back on the main engine or the cockpit. havent decided yet.

thanks for looking. heres some pics.

Al
