Started on the Tail, Got it Drawn out in Cad for my pattern and for the few parts i will laser Cut. Did a quick Card board template to check the size and fit.

Started carving out the tail, and made the small wing that attaches to the lower over hang area in the back. sorry for the low rez pics had to use my phone.

So is the tail going to be coated with bondo Al? or something else will be done to it?

Yeah it will be bondo, then primer. Add kit parts and other details. More primer and cast. The tail has more detail on it than any other part. Its crazy.

quick question(s). Do you have a date for your book, and does it cover the fundamentals of lighting effects?

If all goes well by this time next year at the latest. We are scheduling times for projects. And for me to go back forth to the studio to take pics and work on the various projects. And all the basics will be in the book, from start to finish you will see every step of what it takes to build a movie model. Not only will you see how they do it, but i want to show how every step is done and get the knowledge out there so anyone can build what ever they want. There are alot of basic techniques that once you learn them and with a little practice you can create anything.

Got a little more done on the Tail. Lasered some parts for the tail and a vent that goes behind the rear engine support. the tail is roughed out and i will true it up with bondo and primer, then add the details and kit parts.
