Spiderman Stealth Suit

This really is a crazy build you made that!! Looks like it came from another planet and for a low price. I want to try this one day

Finally someone took on my favorite Spidey suit ! Great job man , My dream would be to make one with EL wire but now that you mention it i didn't though about the eyes ... anyway i don't think i'll have time or money to do it until next year . How clear is the vision with the lenses ?

haha Thanks for all the comments. Yea overall I spent under $100. Most of it is just the black zentai suit too.

ironzitoun - i know right. I fell in love with the suit when i first heard that he was getting it. Yea if I could figure out how to see through the lens and have it illuminated, I sooooo would of done it. An EL version would be pretty sick. The vision is similar to looking through the spandex material on its on for the most part. But if sunlight is beaming at you, it gets a little brighter but still about the same. Dont know if that makes sense, it's cuz of the reflective mirror tint I used. I'll see if I can take a pic as an example when I get the chance.

hey man awesome job!im in the works of building a stealth suit myself(kaines in particular) was it a pain sewing the green spandex on the suit?

overall it wasnt because i used this stuff Sulky Totally Iron On Tear Away Stabilizer. As long as I didn't play around too much it would stay on. IF it comes off just reheat it on again. But do be careful because if the iron is too hot it could melt the spandex. Using that method, i was able to do everything. Only on the back where the zipper is i had trouble because it wouldnt stay flat.

did you feel like alot of movement would effect it stayin on?im attempting to go in the route of using el panels and tape

O sorry I think i mentioned it in an earlier post that i used the iron on stabilizer to hold the green spandex to the black spandex so that I could sew them together. Havent gotten to wear it at like an all day event yet but overall it seems pretty stable. Everything is stretching together. I do plan on changing the foot soles for something more durable and comfortable.

But WOW. I'm looking forward to your build with el panels and tape. Let me know when you start the page.

Wow man good job! I love the alternate Spidey costumes. I've been wondering if anyone would create the bulletproof suit Parker invented just before this one. It looked pretty rad but was only featured in like one issue. This one is definitely cooler.

Anyway great work!

Thanks for all the comments. Sadly there are no full day events I know of coming up. I didn't make it in time for sdcc. So now it is just sitting there until Halloween prob. Might do a photo shoot if I can find time to meet up with some friends.
