Vision is esessntially the same as the pic I posted in the first post of the ASM1 - they both use the same film. You can see quite well, it's like looking through dark sunglasses. How you choose to attach them is up to you - some glue them right to the mask, others use magnets and a faceshell and make them removeable. There are lots of great threads with instructions on how people do them - Lunaman has one of the best ones.

im probably going to buy the lenses but my suit is just a cheap morphsuit and im contemplating whether to start afresh and throw a bit more money at a better suit. would be silly having such nice lenses on a suit they cost more than.

I'm assuming you are asking me about the frames/lenses from this thread: http://www.therpf.com/f13/tjacks-amazing-spiderman-2-faceshell-lenses-combo-206110/

I try to keep it separate from this one that you posted in.

Lenses can possibly include domes or mesh. I think you are referring to the "frames".

For the options available in this thread - info from the first post - "All frames are shipped flat and the lenses will not be attached. This is so that you can heat shape the frames without damaging the lens."

If you want info on my accurate ASM2 kit, please post in that thread.

Ok, so here are the first pulls of the new superior frames. Not sure how well you can see from the pic, but the top one is tuned upside down so you can see the lip for the domes to sit in. This means you will not need any recess in the shell to accommodate the lenses therefore these will work perfectly with my existing universal shells. This is the first time I've cast frames in a 2 part mold and I'm considering remastering my asm2 frames so that the domes can do the same thing.

Working on finalizing the domes now - they will have that "goggle" look to them just like the comic and the white vinyl mesh will come already applied

Hey Tjack, do you also sell faceshells, If so how much do you charge? I've lurked for a while and am seriously considering putting together a Spiderman costume, I'm currently listing all materials I would need at the moment and budgeting how much it would cost me. Thanks

And could the face shell be only the top half? Like til just under the lenses so that when I lift my mask it's like the movies and comics and I can kiss my gf/eat take pictures where my mouth shows instead of black plastic but still have the shell to hold the lenses in place and not have my mask be shaped funny with lenses glued onto it.

Lots of people have been asking me to make these and they are finally available - Classic Superior with the goggle shaped lenses. They are 12.5 x 6.5 cm in size and the domes come with the white vinyl already attached. These are also designed to sit flush against my universal shells as there is space on the back of the frame to allow for the domes (and magnets if you are using them) to be glued in place.

This kit (without magnets) is $40 USD in N America and $45 USD outside NA - and that includes regular shipping. Tracked/insured shipping is extra.
