Speed Racer's Helmet

Hi everyone I'm new to the site and I think this is an awesome site to look up props and talk to all about the things we love.
Now to my problem.I've been a Speed Racer fan ever since it was on back in the early 70's,and Speed was one of the greatest racers to ever be behind the wheel of a racecar.Well when the new movie came out I was not impressed by it ,the race tracks and special FX sucked,but the story line was true Speed Racer,but when I bought the DVD I found I liked it more and more (Still don't like the FX's,but coming around.).
Now as I watch this movie I found I WANT SPEED's HELMET and this is how I found this site and a thread on the helmet questions,so I ask all those out there has anyone found what kind of helmet that they used for Speed?

The toy helmet looks like it's actually pretty close. It isn't 100%, but might make a good starting point.

Hey thanks I've seen it ,but I know someone has to know the real helmet is out there. The only one that come close is the Diesel Mowie(spelling might be off sorry.)

Years ago I bought a Swedish riot police helmet that is an excellent match, from Sportsmans Guide. Like most of my projects, it sits in a box, waiting my attention.
