Looks outstanding to me, what do ya think

Ok here's the update mod on the legs and knees. I completely rebuilt legs to get rid of the polygonal shape

Then instead of the nut and bolt system that I have now I'm gunna try a hook and Eye for ease of use.


I glued a pc of wood to the inside of the upper shins and lower thighs to support the hooks. Then bent hooks to aprox. 45 Deg.
Then attached hooks and eyes to wood with eyes on top and hooks from bottom.


Then its just a simple matter of stepping into shoe, tighten straps and then hooking the eyes, legs are on, woot

After hooking up the legs I tried moving the leg all around and gravity seems to be holding them on well, I let ya know more later after I get whole leg attached to suit and I walk around a bit

another small update, I don't know if anyone else has done this, I am using strips of foam to reinforce the foam sections being I had a lot of scrap from original build. Here is the upper leg and you can see what I did

Im going to stay with templar, this is just a rebuild but I think Im going to start some tipe of kaos marine though so I can have a bad guy

Hey there maybe a change in plan, being I've pretty mush rebuilt suit a chapter change might be in order, So I have a question, The wife likes the look of charcoal and blood red,

so the question is "what chapters use that color sceme
Maybe Ill make a new one, how about Grey knight, grey dragons, Grey Guards, mmmmm

I'm right behind you guys on builds. Although, my build isn't the full size. It's not much smaller but it certainly isn't the 930 scale everyone is is running.

Just one question. What are you doing for filling seams? I can't seem to get a straight answer in my digging. It looks like DAP. But which formula?

Sorry about late post, but I have been using painters calk, fill seam using finger and then a damp foam brush to smooth it out
