Space Marine build (full Size)

I ran the fan on both speeds and there is a slight noise, but not loud at all, I think a person standing next to me will not even hear it at all

awesome work man, that's one nice looking suit, i like the simplicity of the brace in the torso too, not many people post that part in photos. If you don't mind i'd like to copy it when i get my torso sorted out.

Ok heres a small update. First full fitting and view to the public, so to speak. I put on my SM build outside and was practice walking and attracted a small crowd.

OK another small update, been busy at work lately but I decided to build a new bolter cause I didnt like the way ver. one looked. Made the ver one out of 5mm foam and this new one ver2 was made using 11mm eva foam.

turned out ok to me, what do you think?

Heres another small update, still busy at work but I've got the helm almost finished

So what do ya think, Red glospecs look cool. Now I just have to install the voice mod once I get it in the mail

Your build is coming along nicely dude. Are you a member of Obscurus Crusade? They are a Warhammer 40k costuming group:

Obscurus Crusade - Index

They can offer advice for your build. Head on over and check them out!

Ok time for another small update, hard to work 16 hour days , DRUM ROLL PLEASE.....here is the suit with the basic paint finished. the suit has 3 coats of PVA glue and then two coats of latex house paint. For me a good choice, flexible when dry, fast drying and no smell

And if your curious, the words are in latin, because the bible was only written in latin back in the day, and it says.... Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil:

The letters are premade sticky letters that I bought from Michaels crafts, I just painted them gold and stuck them on

Here is another pic of suit with shoulder on and holding bolter. You may notice that helm is not finished. I'm waiting till I get the voice mod electronics finished and mounted inside helm first, have to cut holes for speakers
