Space 1999 spacesuit chest pack

Just made this, the chest pack from a Moonbase Alpha spacesuit, just because I felt like it!

That's awesome. It would look fantastic next to the Koenig helmet that Sixteen 12 released last year.

Thank you. Plywood covered in plasticard. Rounded edges formed milliput.

It's too late to get your hands on the Koenig, they sold out and the scalper prices on ebay are obscene. They do still have the Carter, Morrow and Bergman helmets in stock. They did a great job on them.

Fantastic, I've been meaning to build one for ages! I've also had this for about 10 years with the intention of doing a build.

Thanks folks. I don't intend to build the rest of the suit, though if it carries on being this cold, I could see the use in it! That helmet is great, I've looked but they're always so pricey!

Thanks. That's about as alien to me as 3d printing. I make this stuff on the dining table, all very analogue and low tech!

I believe Clerval is right, but yours has a real 2001 feel to it, that actually makes more sense as a space suit attachment.
