hey guys while leslee will be making the inner shoe aswell im wondering what people who wont join in that run use instead?

Here are my thoughts... I've been thinking it over a lot and don't have a clear answer. I may go with the ones Masked Rider and Skylu are making if the price is right.. otherwise:

Neoprene socks. Some of them look boot-shaped. You would need to attach a sole...maybe water shoe sole, or perhaps even flip flop sole?
2mm Neoprene Sock Something like this, but maybe cut some of it off to make it easier to place foot inside?

Someone mentioned kung fu shoes. I havent seen any in person recently but i'm guessing you remove the sole and glue it under and then put the other part inside the suit?

Another thought I had was men close-toe slippers. Something like this: Amazon.com: Superman Slippers for Men (Medium 8/9): Clothing but without the fuzzy type of covering. I've seen some where the foot covering and the sole was solid and more shoe-like. You would need something for the ankles. But perhaps a thin piece of cardboard can be glued on the inside.

If anyone can add to this, or ways to improve anything mentioned above, that would be great.

That's exactly what you'd do. Wedge the bottom of the suit material in between the shoes upper and the sole. Problem with neoprene socks will be the thickness. Kung fu shoes are very thin canvas, so they don't add a lot of bulk. I'm torn between this and using the accurate Jordan shoes (which are on the way).

the shoes in that pic look more like the soles of the superman returns boots before all the \s/'s were added. considering the fact that james acheson was involved in early stages of the suit its possible they were constructed the same as the raimi spider-man boots. apparently a tuxedo shoe with a square toe was cut down and sole removed and placed inside the foot them a flat sole glued from the outside. its possible those jordan's were used for the inside but not for the sole.

Maybe I don't know what I'm talking about, but those shoes look nothing like what's on the suit.

People are misunderstanding why 6ringsguerra posted the picture of the Jordans. It wasn't that they were used on the screen-used suit, it's that they're what 6ringsguerra is planning to use on his personal suit unless people can find a closer option.

Guys , just wanna share the wrist part first pull out from the mold , cast 2 pairs to test on color paint . Sitting few hours in my friend's paint shop and finally he mixed me 2 different colors and the one im really satisfy with .... its metallic grey/blue , when in dark area , the color looks like grey but when it catch the light , it shows the blue and metallic silver color . Here are some pics of the wrist in different lighting . Let me know what do u all think .

As u can see the second pair of wrist ( Behind ) the color was too Blue / purple , so not gonna use that ....

Those look very promising! Pretty similar to the tuxedo slippers I've used on my Spidey suits, and a hell of a lot cheaper.

I am curious what material you used to cast the wrist cuffs and the rest of the details? I am working on a Girl of Steel and have to design and cast these for her outfit.

The parts as u seen in those pics , all parts were cast by P.U rubber and painted . But those are perfect on suit for display as all parts are quite hard to bend on wearable suit .

So for wearable suit , i will cast all parts by 40 shore urethane rubber .

How about instead of hijacking someone elses thread, which you're obviously aware is not a cool thing to do, you just start your own with a title like "Can someone help me identify the source of this MOS pic?"

you'll probably get much better results, and won't run the risk of pissing off the people who came to this thread for a specific purpose.
