It's the obvious choice. Kessel Run, or Starcave of Thonboka, or whatever wouldn't immediately clue in casual fans, and Han Solo at Star's End: A Star Wars story or something like that is unwieldy. Solo works.

Agreed. They served their purpose as a "let's do a funny one" comic. They have no business in a canon film, even as BG or cameos.
