Skull models with separate teeth?

A few years back I had a Skilcraft skull model that was several parts, with the cap, skull, jawbone, and then all separate teeth.

Good luck finding one today. Can anyone help me to find something similar? I see skulls on eBay all the time, but they're either all pre-molded with the teeth included, or only have three removeable teeth like a lot of the Bucky ones. This is for a Sleepy Hollow set up, so the necessity of having the teeth not be already attached is sorta a given.

Lindberg used to make one that had separate teeth. I think I still have one...I'll check and let you know.

Are you trying to make a Headless Horseman skull?

Bingo.

Propstore has a copy of one, but I'm not paying over half a thousand bucks for something not even screen-used when I can do it myself.

Revell used to make a "life-sized" skull model--I had one at one point but my brother apropriated it. It had all the teeth seperately molded as I recall. It was a really nice model obviously taken from real life but it wasn't anywhere near adult sized. Wish I could offer more info.

There is a store local to me that sells anatomically correct skulls of quasi-medical grade (i.e. not like a plastic model kit). I got one to do a 3D, 1:1 POTC logo display. I know SOME of the teeth are removable; not sure if ALL are. I'll check, and if so, I can try to check the store.

Thanks, but RickDTM showed me one from PinkertonFX that's actually correct to the movie look while the Propstore one is wrong.

But maybe we can keep this thread for anyone who needs a skull with separate teeth for another project.

Carefull, I remember hearing on another board people were having problems in reguards to getting items they paid Pinkerton for.

"Indiana Jones and the Artistic Interpretation of a Skull"? :confused

Anyhoo, you're right, many crystal skulls are quite abstracted, but this one at least is pretty realistic.

I suppose the prop for the film will be memorably abstracted tho... :unsure

I remember getting one of these for my 7th or 8th birthday in the early eighties. As I recall mine was made of a glow in the dark type plastic. It had all the separate teeth, four parts to the lower jaw (two pieces right and left), and a six piece skull. The skull consisted of the cap, inner brainpan, left and right sides that joined at the sphenoid/vomer and occipital areas and the frontal which was made of two pieces (front and back). It also had separate zygomatic arches. It was a nice kit at the time but as dcarty said it was small. About three years ago I saw what appeared a re-issue while looking for Halloween decorations on-line but I have not seen one since.
