Yeah, definitely the MPC/AMT - you can tell by the weird pinched-up shape of the lower fuselage, just below the cockpit. If it's touring as part of an ILM exhibit, I would assume it's one of the ROTJ background models, but that's only an assumption. I can tell you that the paint does not match any of the 2-foot ANH models, or the ROTJ 4-footer.
 
Ok well thanks for the input guys.

If anyone finds pics of the other side of this thing I would apreciate seeing them. I am thinking about making an AMT kit up to match this one, but I only have pics of one side.

You can also tell by the undersized intakes (Saturn V parts in the "true" models).

I think they also used MPC kits for pyros.
 
Hi, Here are some of my pictures of that X-wing in Singapore, the first one shows the X-wing from the other side, taken trough 4 layers of glass ....in bad light(no flash allowed)...... the quality of the picture is horrible!
