Silicone P1 Suit Evolution. Pg41 Hands Video 19/07/13

yeah im beginning to think i am pushing my luck lol, but so be it, blinded for the cause.................

who said that???????? seriously i cant see.......................

Looking awesome Lee!! I've seen actual diffused lense LEDs where there is no pinpoint light. At least in my experience I could look at them because the light was dispersed I would guess you'd need a few extra since the light will be a bit weaker through the diffused lense buts its a thought :) I wouldn't glare at em but I bet it would be a slightly safer route and could also provide a more evenly dispersed glow effect. I'll be toying with some green difused 5mm lense LEDs within a month or two. I can share how they look with you behind a lense if you want!

That bio is a beauty!

Love your work... as always :D

B any shared ideas are welcome as always, me= total noob at most of this remember.

having said that i think this is going to have to be put aside now with a potential predacon looming. i need to get my ass into gear and get making this suit.

Hands virtually finished painting, as fuse do not have a silver in their paint line up, i decided to do grey, then i will add some black shadows with a fine brush posibly tomorrow, before i top coat then Matt it down.

You can mix oil based paint with silicone taken down with naphtha to create your own silicone paint.... Wouldn't be to hard to hit it with a little silver.. Although I kinda like the grey

Looking good Lee

The more i look, the more it irks me of the redness, i had this issue with my mask, ill have to try sort that tomorrow before i finish it.

Having said that, its just a damn hand......... pfft.

Thanks guys.

I love it!
That hand looks great. Can't wait to see the other one.

It's going to be a killer suit. And a very special one, since you're going to be the maker of it (y)

Pirate Pred, would that make him a "Predaharhar"

Not sure ill get the hand done today, but it will be done tomorrow, then its time to tryrepaint my pred feet to match the silicone other parts, as the feet are the only body part that will be latex.

to elaborate on what Branden said here's a pic of a LED with a wider viewing angle. that means the light is dispersed out more vs being a pinpoint.

Looking good Lee, the hand came out nice!
I think when you use the bio lights, close your eyes...a blind pred is a dangerous pred...
